Though.. to be PERFECTLY HONEST, the true reason we have Chaos Soldier back and Judgement Dragon unlimited is because the Priority Rule Change in OCG makes it VERY easy to handle a Soldier now because it can be killed before it gets to use the effect, unlike with priority where it would cheat.

Now a Bottomless Trap Hole or Compulsory Evac Device kills Soldier before it can make any trouble. PROBLEM IS... TCG doesn't yet follow that Priority Rule Change.... UH OH.

Chaos Soldier is back, but at least we know Yata and CED1 will NEVER return in a million years (or until the power of the metagame is so great that even CED1 would have problems keeping field control, and hell, we're almost there already with Effect Veiler and Herald of Orange Light and the NUMEROUS WAYS that monsters are reborn are recycle from a complete wipe).

Also, those of you saying priority wasn't changed obviously do not pay enough attention. The rule change happened with the Dawn of the Xyz Starter and was announced by Konami prior to that. Priority still exists, but now those monsters who abuse it actually have to make it to the field.

there's no actual change in the TCG priority ruling, and konami hasn't announced anything about future changes...

anyone who told you the monsters must make it into the field lied to you, priority is the same as it has ever been

so unless the monster gets hit with warning or other negating stuff, it may still activate its effect
