Deja Entendu is one of my all time favorite albums, but when I went to see their live show it was an incredible disappointment. I saw brand new when the sold out Wembley Arena and they seemed pretty awesome live to me. Little crowd interaction compared to people like Tegan and Sara, but sound wise was spot on.

@MikeGasm When I saw them they tried a lot of rearrangements, which I like to see at shows if it's done well, but they sounded sloppy. Especially Lacey, he was out of tune, off pitch and singing the lyrics differently. I get trying out new things and mixing it up for concerts, but if it sucks just stick to the album version. Maybe he was too drunk or having a bad night but Vendetta Red, who opened for them was the highlight of the evening. This was around '03 or '04.

Check out Sun Kil Moon... Extremely original Modest Mouse covers... Probably the best Modest Mouse covers out there... He/They did a whole album of them called "Tiny Cities"... One of my favorite albums of all time. It's beautiful and sounds NOTHING like Modest Mouse... It's all in open tunings, finger picked... Absolutely gorgeous.

Try checking it out before you bash. I didn't bash this version. This is a good version. Good that the crowd got into it especially. However it is kept very close to the original, which generally I like it when people change up covers. Hence why I change up all the covers I do. My only criticism of this one is that the vocals are a little weak. Other than that it is top notch. If I was bragging I would say mine is the best out there, which I know it isn't.
