this is beautiful. i listened to them singing laudamuste too. the two women are wonderful. actually i like these women singing this more than that of cicilia bartoli with these two songs. but unfortunately i have no clue where this was performed and who are these women. very unpretentious ... and more than performance its the message conveyed which is reflected with these artists' singing... great job...

Yes, would sound better with an oboe, but just think about how well the Italian composers used the violin in pieces like this, they just sing.

@iminaspell A performance of Gloria I was in as concertmaster had an oboe play this part. It was beautiful. But a violin does sing better.
