Huh, I thought this would have come out a bit later than 1971. I hear this at the grocery store where I work, and it's grown on me. I love 70's music.
Carole King songs are simply beautiful and in that era you can listen to the lyrics unlike now... sad to say all rubbish!! Nothing like those songs from that era. Thanks for loading this and bring back fond memories.... Cheers :)
I heard this song on the radio and I liked it I'm only in junior high and I dance so I'm hoping I can do a solo to this song but I'm not sure there are a lot of song s to choose from.
I dedicate this tune to BRUCE (mav3r1ck69) and his wife and 2 kids and ALL the rest of the people of New Zealand affected by the recent 6.3Earthquake! I will light a candle! ~ Yara
with regard to the lyric - I always thought it was "ya", not you or your.
Your does make a huge difference but as the rest of the song is just about lust and sex, rather than family commitments, I think if it's not ya it would be you!
Between Carole King and Joni Mitchell who both released their breakthrough albums the same year in 1971, Tapestry and Blue, I much prefer the former one. It is a masterpiece but not the latter one!
Thank you for all of you comments, maybe she does say "your" instead of "you", and yes that is a big difference in the song. I am glad to make these for others to enjoy. I wish the copyrights weren't so strict, otherwise I would have more videos. Thanks again and ENJOY!

Sorry to be a nag, but around 1:47 I'm pretty sure she says "I've just got to have YOUR baby" not "you baby". To me, this is an important lyric to notice and makes a big difference in the urgency of her song.
This also could be the reason that American Idol performance was so tame in comparison to Carole King's original... I wouldn't vote for that wannabe, even if I cared to.
My comment was about the lyrics correction. I don't believe I asked you what you were hoping for. I was just noting the difference one word can make when interpreting a song.
Learn to love yourself, and heal the dumbass in your own heart.
First time I heard this I was 16 (1995) and just got done smoking a joint with a friend. Then we imediately walked up to the gas station and this song was playing inside the store. I was tripping out to the song. I was imagining some weird and cool stoner visuals in my head that went with the music. Then my friend sings to it "I feel the earth... move... under my feet!" I was surprised he knew the song. Anyway, for a long time after that I tried finding that song again. Eventually I did.
Thank you so much for this video! I was looking and this was the only not live/ with lyrics video! You are such an honest person. Many people put in the description that their video is "with lyrics" but they actually don't have them, they just want you to click the video. But you aren't like that, and I appreciate that like there's no tomorrow. Thank you for showing me and inspiring me to be a better person, and to be honest in everything i do. Seriously, I love you for this. LOVEyouSOmuch!
