Why should I believe these guys when they talk about NDEs? Their expertise is conjuring, not parapsychology. They are skeptics and entertainers, not objective observers. If he wants to talk about magic, then I will pay close attention.
When someone tells me something unimaginable and they have no evidence to support it, that's not arrogant... it's called being astute. One day, if there ever is conclusive evidence that events that occur after death are "real", then I'll be more receptive to the idea. Until then, this is just like the researchers trying to find evidence of clairvoyance and extra sensory perception.
I'm sorry, this is a typical arrogant and derogatory response people make to a subject like NDE's. If you look at a lot of real cases of NDE's they have happened when the BRAIN IS CLINICALLY DEAD. A leading neurosurgeon Dr Sam Parnia has been conducting an on going experiment with NDE's for a long time. Real research by proper qualified professors and doctors who belive the brain does live on long after it is dead. Not analyzed by a couple of fading american celebrities. God Bless
LOL. HOJNACKIS how does that reinforce validity? Death is something that comes and for some people they can be revived before death. However, any illusion presented during an NDE is just the mind working... not an individual visiting some other place during that state...
If you are spun around in a centrifuge and your brain looses blood to the point where you pass out, aren't you in fact dying? Seems to me that the centrifuge reinforces the validity of the near death experience.
That's where you're wrong. Near death experiences are different among all cultures and, like other efforts using Pascal's wager, they fail due to the assumption of biforcation. In India they have Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. In Islam they have Muhammad, Allah or Gabriel. In Christianity they have Jesus. In other religions, they have their archtypes as well. In not believing the NDE's, I'm not setting myself up for a win-lose any more than you are...
If these guys are right, then nobody has anything to worry about..right? But..if these guys are wrong...then I have nothing to worry about..but they do. I believe in a win-win situation...but if you are fooled into believing that there is no hell/heaven, then you are VOLUNTARILY setting yourself up in a win/lose situation for your eternity...think about it. Love G*d and Jesus, and your neighbor as yourself...so you will be 100% sure of what is next. Nothing to lose..except your soul..dont fall.

Each culture that attempts to prove their religion through NDE examples always see what they want to see because it's all in their mind.
