  • Hi Geri ..still pass by your Dad's house on Penrod.Love Steve...your music is great.

  • this is the fucking bomb

  • I like this music very much. It is a good balance between disciplin and letting loose. BEST to Geri Allan - Matthias Rumpf Unna NRW Deutschland

  • Heaven became true

  • i love

  • in response to jubulalau; the look that Ralph Armstrong: the bassist gives to Geri is one of joy,as u said" did u like it ". Yes she did . Yes they went to high school together: Detroit Cass Tech,iIn the 70's I know cause I was ther too.

  • Geri is amazing. When we were music students at Howard, we all knew she was in a league of her own - one that we would never attain to in this lifetime. She was much brighter than most of our professors. Makes me proud to have been blessed to hang out with her.

  • This is Jazzheaven.Superb.

  • @plectrum71 lololol

  • @plectrum71 lol

  • Amazing... one of my favorites. I'm very excited to see her tomorrow night in Houston.

  • Sure wish I could make it to her concert on Sat.

  • she taught me briefly at a summer program at UMASS. AMazing musician. Sometimes though, she can be a little too hip for her own good, in her harmonies anyway. But a great pianist that i learned a lot from nonetheless.

  • A joy ... would have loved to been at the Kennedy Center, DC last year for her show with Patrice & Terri Lyne Carrington

  • @plectrum71 OMG, you got me CTFU I was thinking the exact same thing.

  • Thank You, Geri is amazing.

  • Girl, you betta PLAY...

  • when was this?

  • Hermoso ... =)

  • Geri Allen: soft dreaming and tough dynamics. Geri is the greatest jazz pianist today to me. I learned a lot from her playing about new chords and .. softness & peace. Geri's inner world touches on otherwise unreachable heights.

  • @timopartanen nice

  • Musical pheromones!

  • so nice ! です.

  • Drums is Ralph Penland from LA....nice player...

  • The funniest thing about the whole clip is the sexy look of the bassist in the end.

Something like: "So babe, did you liked it?"

    LOL, Geri's trio is awsome!

  • Awesome clip. She can flat out play! Thanks for the upload.

  • "DAMN"

  • Hi Geri, from your 'ol Howard U classmate Vanessa. You were the bomb then and like fine wine, you've only gotten better. I'll never forget the day we were all in class jabbering away waiting for the instructor to come and you decided to go to the piano and try out a few chords in privacy while we were jabbering. You played, and time stood still. We were all pulled in and just flat out shut up because you simply mesmerized us. You have made the class of 1979 proud Geri. We love you. Peace.

  • I love Geri

  • Very Mingus, I love this!

  • I knew her music through Charles Lloyd.

Very soft and intense at the same time. Incredible.

  • Very classy!!!!! On a scale of 1 to 10, it's a 15.
