I wonder what his background of playing violin is. He's pretty good but he's also pretty sloppy at times. 3:02 he is almost a half-step flat on the high note. Still pretty awesome though.

Although this version might not indeed be the best (non-classical) version around, I've seen them perform it live on the metal female voices fest in 2006, and all I can say is that it was amazing. The guy playing the violin was so intense and the rest of the band was awesome as well (not just with this piece)

C'mmon, is out of tempo, the drums are too much electronic.... and the guitar could be a nice second violin!!!...even once I saw here in Mexico an enssamble with this piece with a electric guitar, electric violin, bass, drums and bagpipes, that a very nice interpretation....beleve me is not so good this one.... I mean, sound good, but that because the piece is a real masaster piece!!!
