accualy there's a really good way to farm wire, so you don't spend all your money, you make a new world, kill skeletron, go in his dungeon with wire cutters and look around! you will get ass tons of wire. hope i helped! :D

I know some monsters like zombies and goblins can open unblocked doors but can they also flip switches and activate pressure plates by themselves? I want a stone wall with a lever to open and close the entrance to my base but I don't want monsters to use it.
