I'm just curious. Why do you find the v3 limiter function impractical?

Could you illustrate with an example of incoming level somehow not being treated well or something relevant to that, maybe?

Have you noticed there is a very hard 'clip/smoosh' sound when using this limiter function on the project series MP?

I'm guessing the v3 is intolerable as far as mushy, clip joint sounds go when you initially attack the signal with say, an electric guitar on clean

I connect the preamp to my pc via usb

shure sm 58 to preamp via xlr

but theres this static that i hear

hi there, great reviews!

can i ask how these ART preamps compare with the XLR preamps on mixer channels, the reason i ask is that when i connect my sm57 to xlr preamp on my XENYX 502 mixer i have to set trim to at least 1/4 past on the dial to get any sort of decent volume level!

in your opinion with testing these ART'S out would it be more beneficial for me to invest in one of these, or do you think i'm not going to see much of a boost compared to Xenyx mixer...?

Bass DI sounded great! Had some very nice low end warmth -- even through my crappy comp speakers. Impressive preamp and well done demo.

There´s a car passing on the street, but I can´t hear it on the recording while you are singing with the Luna mic. How can you do this? This is some sort of noise gate or the mic is just ignoring anything that is not in front of it?

can you use this on your guitar effects chain safely? well actually I have the studio one with the vu meter. I'm thinking of using it for the tube since I have a solid state amp and even the slightest hint of tube warmth is something I'd like to get.

I meant to plug the preamp to the PC and then everything else through...that being said. This is the BEST ART Tube MP Project Series Mic Pre i've seen here on youtube. Thank you very much for it.

I'm a cheap bastard so do you think it would be a nice idea to plug the directly into the Line In of my PC (while i get an USB interface and my OWN PC) or would i mess up something? I need an interface that allows to aomplify vocals and I would wire the guitar or bass to the preamp and then model the signal with Guitar Rig 4 with FL studio as a host. I can't do noise where i'm recording but i don't want to buy a lot of stuff (Gutiar link for example and then the pre and then something else)
