If Captain Jeffry L. Rand hadn't made that Great Insult, the Kzer-Za could have won the Second Doctrinal Conflict. VUX Intruders seem quite good against Marauders.
@Maridianokusho The Spathi are so cowardous that they would never attack the Kohr-Ah on their own. Even the Captain in Star Control II couldn't get them to directly attack them but only give their troops and ship designs.
@Maridianokusho I just thought that if the VUX attacked the Kohr-Ah there would've been more Kzer-Za left than the Kohr-Ah. Of course, if they had assisted in the Ur-Quan Slave War then that wouldn't be the case so my theory is on pretty unstable ground.
A better solution might have been preventing the Shofixti from blowing up their sun. Because of that a large percentage of the Kzer-Za were killed.
But the hateful Vux dedided to be combat thralls. So, beneath their hate to other humanoids, especially humans, they were indoctrined as well, pro for the Ur Quan as one.
I think, at the time the Alliance of Free Stars were defeated there was no other chance (think of the Yehat retraction) AND then both the Ur Quan and Kohr Ah had outnumbered all. It was no time to use the Doctrinal Conflict against the Kohr Ah, no thought of it, no possibility.
@Izzeee I will tell you (the Melnorme say that): the Androsynth managed to get contact to the so-called 'sliding' races, as there are beneath the Orz the Melnorme, the Keel-Verezy and Arilou. And perhaps *NGNN* as the Arilou call them.
As the Androsynth could see the Ngnn, they could see the Androsynth, and *heavy space* (Orz language) would be revealed to them.
That must not happen in any way, so, the Orz exterminated the Androsynth.
