    that man is not amused.

  • i love craig but i am sick of him calling Glasgow a town and once in a film of his "a small village", its a city >.<

  • Notice, the camera shaking at about 12:10, thats a laughing cameraman. Go Craig, raise some hell!!

  • Oooohhhhhh!!!! The audience, so quiet!!!! I think he was terrific!!! That guy is fantastic!

  • 6:50, see Dick Cheney laughing with glee at the description of somebody being beaten up while on fire.

  • "Just another case of immigrants taking jobs that Americans don't want." Hah!

  • 15:05

  • Dozens of Props for Craig Ferguson. He was funny & didn't go there to embarass the president like that Jackass on the comedy channel Stephen Colbert.

I wonder which idiot got fired from Bush's staff right after the Stephen Colbert appearance.

  • He was totally disrespecting canada!! no matter what. he WAS disrespecting them.

  • @49fortyniners Calm down, child

  • 21:03 - 21:25 pretty much sums up Bush, SLOW!!

  • hahahah at 10:46 bush tells craig "Fuck Off"

  • senator ferguson? and he'd probably be willing to do it just for laughs.

  • Wow, before his 3rd marriage and new baby....funny as hell!!!

  • lol 18:28 giving them the finger! i love it! :D

  • wow leno stole from him, stupid do do that on the same event only later.. well why am i not surprised.. i wonder ..

  • i love this guy hahaha

  • he remade a robin williams joke? Unless Robin Williams took it from someone... And basically I mean, I listen to way too much comedy and I want confirmation, and not in an accusatory tact.

  • god he's amazing <3

  • Jayson Blair and Judy Miller.... Lmao.. Owned, haha

  • His approach is completely different. He speaks sooo free...

  • sucker...

  • "I'm like Fox news, I'm not a journalist" I love this guy

  • Craig kinda ripped off Robin Williams on the Canada bit. But Craig makes it his own. :-)

  • @RichMaxwell Who said it has gone Downhill any statistics ????? I clearly are not following the television half the globe across i know wats going on... GO back to school

  • @vickyanish I said it has gone downhill... its my own personal opinion. "I clearly are not"? "half the globe across"? Maybe You should go back to school and practice your English.

All I'm saying is, his late night show used to be a lot better than it is now (in my opinion). Now it just seems like all he does is make goofy noises and talk to that robot of his 'Geoff'. Its dumb.

  • All those writers and this is what he comes up with?

  • I hate when foreigners outdo Americans with the inward looking hyper-patriotic backslapping, especially when they should know better. - i.e. "I think I'll exercise my civil and religious freedoms without fear of incarceration or repression." He's from SCOTLAND, not North Korea. In the UK they have more religious freedom than the US since atheists and muslims can actually get elected to high office. In the UK they don't ship people to offshore gulags where they can't get a trial.

  • It wasn't really a tough crowd as some people are saying. You just can't hear them laugh as loud as you'd like them to laugh because the quality sucks. The voice projection is coming more from Craig's mic.

  • Craigy had to hold back the FUNNY jokes:'( (LLSJ)

  • I really love Craig Ferguson. I hate politics though. Everyone seems to have a different view of the same issues and I just can't figure it out. I was born in America and I've never been anywhere else. some times I hate it some times I love it. Some times it seems so arrogant and sometimes it's the country that so many are willing to die for. I can't figure it out but I do know I love how much patriotism Craig has. It's so heartfelt I wish I was that sure of my country.

  • Colbert, Ferguson, Stewart and O'Reilly should join as a team to roast Obama...specially O'Reilly he's the funniest comedian ever, the O'Reilly factor should be on Comedy Central!

  • Im Scottish and I gotta admit Bush prob just couldn't understand Craigs accent. Thought craig did well, fairly amusing but also serious and at times heartfelt, yes heartfelt, he clearly loves America, he is now of course, American. I think Bush made mistakes some unforgivable, some prob breaking legality, but I don't think he was evil, I think he was a puppet of more sinister and indeed evil people. Obama from chicago, most corrupt place in america.. don't be 2 surprised if he is the same puppet

  • LOL Bush has a translator for jokes. That was the funniest bit.

  • Haha!! i cracked up at how slow Bush was at understanding the joke at 21:07

  • I'm feeling patriotic, and slightly misty now..

  • You cranky, magnificant bastards..

    You cranky, under-handed, double-dealing, property-taxing, money-grubbing, back-lashing, water-boarding, patriot-acting, two-timing, fact-juggling, mud-slinging, dirty-pooling, golf-playing, fox-hunting, baby-kissing, cat-kicking, dog-wagging, election-fixing, resume-padding, speech-spinning, ham-stringing, wallet-lifting, purse-snatching, bottom-lining, deal-cutting, kickback-laundering, tax-dodging, Bilder-burging, Satan-worshiping, magnificent Bastards You.

  • @MrBigYum How long did that take you? Curious. Ha ha ha...

  • @MinisterAilingTongue 41 years. Ha ha ha... Satisfied?

  • Awesome speech/performance

  • Lol, 19:44 : Bush going :"Dungeon? What's a dungeon?"^^

  • Two of the guys there looked like they were asleep.

  • it's very entertaining seeing craig out of his element.

  • oh my gawd i love this man.

  • Rofl at the Bill O'Reilly bits.

  • Man, he's picking on Cheney all throughout this... it's awesome! lol

  • I love how he has his hands in his pockets and he's walking back and fourth (11:44, for example)...

He should have said: IT'S A GREAT DAY FOR AMERICA, EVERYBODY!!!

  • I like the line about Karl Rove a little after 12:00.

  • funny

  • I like how he began his act with no real sense of wanting to upset anyone in the room, but by the end had insulted just about the entire Bush administration and the opposition.

  • God I wish the Secretariat thing would've happened!!!! Would've made everything just pure awesomeness!

  • Craig is incredible! He said the night before on David letterman that he wasn't gonna be funny! He was hilarious!!!!!!!! No fear, that's what makes comedians comedic!

  • Enjoy your taquitos, amigos!

He really rocked. No small feat.

  • Im glad to share a country with him :)

  • "When Barney humped the Pope's leg..." Ahaha!

  • heres what i love about al-queida LOL

  • welcome to America Craig. Liberals are Passive-Aggressive.

  • @Nick22pr ...I.....I can't tell if trolling, or just very stupid. Please re-read your statement, and then look up the definition of irony.

  • Comment removed

  • @Nick22pr Well, I would like to reply to your comment but it's been removed. Carry on...

  • I absolutley love CF, and while this speech maybe wasn't as funny as some other recent ones, it was way more touching (with a few zingers) and he did get a standing ovation. Something about the 'new American' thing' maybe?

Whatever, Craig always makes me want to stand up and cheer.

  • I think that was a funny show, But I felt that you were going to say something wrong to tick them off, Like it was tension!!! especially when I saw that man sleeping, & a wife or girl looked at her man smiling, to see if he would approve of you, But what really cracked me up, was!! Mr. Bush didn't get the joke for the second time that I could see, & had to ask the guy next to him, Then he laughed, I laughed so hard I pissed my pants. All in All It was a awesome show,

  • Hey. Start at 15:18. The Best of Donald Rumbfield. (Who cares if I spell it wrong.) That was funny.

  • @stupidjunk978 I'm guessing you're a Scotsman? :P

  • Bush is having a good time! laughing all the time! the crowd should get a joke pill. Freakin straight face for craig!

  • comedy for the anally retentive....

  • lets moisturize and text each other "canada is like the apartment above the party"

  • Craig is a real trooper. He carries on and just gets better and more confident. Even with the sparse laughter of the humorless audience.

  • Craig is hysterical. I don't believe how stiff this crowd. Oh wait a second ... yes I do.

  • Man i really wish they call back Craig for an Encore. He would be awesome with Obama!!!

  • Craig killed it.

  • LONG LIVE CRAIG

  • Seriously? Can anyone ever wonder why & how this man is such a success & so loved by his fans? The man is what Americans admire: Truth, justice and the American way...throw in real talent, hard work and determination. That's what American stands for.He made the right choice...and knows it. We thank you.

  • Just Imagine if Geoff was there saying Balls...

  • I love George W Bush's late reaction at 21:11!! LMAO!

  • deep down i think bush was laughing his ass off, and some of it showed

  • I love craig hes sooo handsome here

  • I love that you could see him fold up his speech before he was done, it showed that what he said at the end came form the heart. I also love that Rob Lowe was the first to stand.

  • Tough crowd, it ain't easy making elitist laugh

  • Damn the Glasgow part is hilarious!

  • Craig was so funny here ....

  • hear that americans? you cranky masrgdskfjg bastards!!!

  • The greatest living comedian, right here.

  • @DeltaCookies007 noooot really. funny?! yes. good comedian? yes. greatest living comedian?! not even close!

  • lol not bad, better than rich little

  • The fact that an aid had to explain a joke to Bush says pretty much all you need to know about who occupied the white house for eight (excruciating) years.

  • @maleki9 a monkey with hemorrhoids

  • @maleki9 "OOO-ho-ho man, THAT'S encouraging."

  • @maleki9 funny that obama fucked up in two years what it took bush eight years to screw up. how does that work?

  • is the guy at 9:35 just drunk or bored ?

Anyway somethings wrong with him :)

Craig did a great Job on hat one, kudos for getting at mr.B in terms of holidays, and cheneys clean shotgun, LMAO.

  • 19:43 Bush is probably asking the guy beside him "what is a dungeon?"

  • 9:33 I see a dead guy!!!

  • Craig should of had is hand sanitizer after he touched Bush.

  • Comment removed

  • 22:16 as he says pretentious he glances towards bush, is that a confront? If it is what a guy man, MASSIVE balls, respect.

  • he has balls

  • i love how some of the old farts are trying so hard not to laugh like at about 10:00. nice effort, but craig is too funny for ur vain efforts :)) and the rumsfield bit was HALARIOUS.

  • Yeah stand up and clap ya bastards! Craig was brilliant!

  • "here's what I love about Al Quaeda..." Craig is amazing...

  • at 12:43, there is a guy asleep at the table - wahahaha

  • well some of the people there think they are too "elegant" to laugh at this...

    Well screw them ...

  • Why did not J. W. say "In your pants!" and "Seriously?"

    Mybe "balls"

  • I LOVE SCOTS>>>!!!!!!!!!!!

  • GO C-SPAN CAMERA GUY!

  • lol dude sleeping at 12:46

  • He should have read some tweets and emails

  • Guy just sleeping at 22:44, good-for-nothing, rich bastard!!!

  • Hehe, I like how Bush needs a translator to make him understand Ferguson's accent.

  • @EllaBelle18 wtf are you talking about Bush is like the only one laughing.

  • The ONLY interesting thing ever on C-SPAN that won't put you to sleep....

  • These people just don't know humor!!!! What the hell is wrong with them??!!!

  • The whole time, I was expecting him to press a little button under the podium and yell "WHO'S THAT AT THE DOOR EVERYBODY?!" and then Secretariat would come running out and everyone would start dancing...but it's just a dream.

  • @VelocityX7 Oh if only!

  • @VelocityX7 if only ! having Secretariat at the press dinner would have been GREAT - but when this dinner was held / Secretariat was still just two people walking around separately ...

  • @VelocityX7 that would have been so awesome!!

  • Enjoy your taquitos amigos

  • I really love, as some of you already has said, how honest craig is being. he never stops being himself. that's admirable. I also love how slow mr bush is and his lack of understanding scottish. especially in the end when he laugh the crap out of himself, (of course) after asking his neighbour what craig really was saying. (I apologise for my english. I'm not a native speaker)

  • @javlarvasnyggt

nor is Craig Ferguson... knock urself out :-)

  • Comment removed

  • 9:36 fatty is NOT amused lol

  • Brilliant Craig!! Himself as usual!!

  • "Craig, that's your job, speak truth to power. And I'm sorry I don't see it that way - THAT'S YOUR JOB. You're journalists."

Powerful words. Even more powerful on reflection that Jon Stewart is more trusted and respected than any other tv journalist.

This is one of the many reasons why I love Craig Ferguson. He doesn't stick it to the man, he looks you in the eye and tells you to stop the bullshit and do your god damn job.

  • heres what i love about al qaeda... not a phrase you hear often.

  • "Let us moisturize and text teach other." Priceless

  • what is he saying at 13:18 - 13:21? thx

  • @kamikc2 "and you thought waterboarding was torture?. . . Anyway"

  • @kamikc2 "You thought water-boarding was torture"

  • Don't normally like Bush but it was cool of him to laugh like he did. And Craig again was amazing.

  • 21:10 hahaha classic funny bush....

  • @Ashvegian ...because sexual innuendo and puppets would have really worked!

  • @countingdown27 lol. yeah, there's not much he could have done. especially due the the state he was in. poor scottish bastard!

  • Brutal crowd!! CSPAN showed people sleeping. Bush is so stupid he has to ask the guy next to him to explain the jokes. Craig did a great job in front of a bunch of stuck up houmourless cunts

  • lmao @ the Rumsfeld thing :P

  • Why did it take so long to find a real, funny guy? Sorry, but Pervy Dave and Leno just don't cut it any more. Thanks, Craig.

  • Funny shit.

  • Everyone proclaiming "touch crowd" don't realize that this is possibly the most laughter i've heard at a White House Correspondents Dinner. They loved him, and rightfully so. Spoke truth to power while keeping the atmosphere light and retaining his charm.

  • @Jonmad17 especially looking at Seth Meyers performance

  • Stealing Frankie Boyles jokes about glasgow airport?

  • this is legendary !

  • grand xD

  • hahahha he made that dinner the best I imagine XD

  • the C-SPAN camera guy

  • He stole the part about Canada being an apartment over a party from Robin Williams!!!

  • @JCej True. From Robin Williams: Live on Broadway.

  • Let us moisturize and text each other!

  • I hate Bush as much as the next person, but it's hilarious when he laughs.

  • LAURA FOR PRESIDENT!

  • lol 21:12 classic bush

  • 15 people either ARE terrorists or have no sense of humor

  • makes me proud that my family is from scotland

  • Great act by Craig. Major fail on most of the martini swigging, scalpel scarred, bow tie wearing audience.

  • "That's encouraging". Haha, Craig murdered Bush. I feel sorry for all Americans because a lot of people watching this will think that everyone from the US has no sense of humour, like most of the crowd.

  • well done!

  • maroons.

  • They are laughing though, quite a lot actually. This isn't made for television though so there are no microphones directed at the audience or picking up laughter.

  • POP QUIZZ EVERYBODY! xDD I laughed my ass off ^^

  • is that baldy sleeping at 12:45??? what a no life douche!

  • Craig was great! It must have been very intimidating to face a room full of stuffed shirts and humorless snobs. I think he did a marvelous job! We native born Americans should be thrilled that he decided to join our ranks!
