@n8tureboy a-ha has never sung any songs in norwegian. All norwegians, swedes, danes are taught english from the 3rd or 4th grade in school. In practice this means you can understand everything if one wants to, but one's also equally capable of shutting out the lyrics at will.

South African accent sounds almost British, kind of Australian and has that touch of Dutch (a Germanic language) from Afrikanner. Morten's English has a British influence and his native tongue is a Germanic language. Anytime I hear someone with that not quite fully Brit/Aussie accent it is usually someone from South Africa or Rhodesia (Zimbabwe).
