"Another Street Fighting game".... I always considered Killer Instinct more of a "MK" game than a Street Fighter game. It seems like there are 2 kinds of fighters, the Street Fighter~style(Capcom, SNK, ect) and the Mortal Kombat~style(with finishers, blood, and an abundance of violence).
I...I'm confused... I never played either of the K.I. games. But why is the original good, and why is this bad? I mean, by the footage shown, I think this one is better, seeing how it looks smoother both in graphics and gameplay.
Anyways...I shall only look at this as a personal opinion.

This review is terrible. Although KIG is not a well known game. The controls and fighting mechanics are very well done. Clearly you just suck/don't understand the combo mechanics...because the controls are very responsive, the combos are easy to do.
If i had to name my favorite "skill based" none button mashing fighting games this would be right behind marvel vs. capcom.

I remember this game. It's quite possibly my MOST BELOVED memory of the Nintendo 64 era.
And, I'm not a fighter game fan at all. I basically played the original Mortal Kombat ..... and THIS. I didn't even play the original Killer Instinct first.
I loved this game. It's a GREAT game. From what I can see, there's pretty much a consensus about it.
What we have here is an example of someone who doesn't like fighting games reviewing one. That's kind of like asking a shark to review a salad!

it may not be 3d but htis is kinda like a realiistic sprite and no if ya do it in real life ur gonna get 100 bullets in yur ASSSSs xD so yeah I would rather buy a game liek this because back in the 90's video games were not like hobbies you needed them @_@ but now and days....its...get and get theres not as much hype as there were back then i mean remeber when mario world3 came out O_O we sh*ted our pants for that game,

This guy is totally failing it. He said another 'street fighting game'? One, SF isn't even a genre. Two, KI has nothing to do with SF. And three, both KI and SF are fucking epic shit. This guy's review blows my damned mind how he's ragging on it when he doesn't know shit about video games in the first place. I'm glad this was a long time ago, because people would get fired for these kinds of reviews in this day and age.

This review is terrible. Although KIG is not a well known game. The controls and fighting mechanics are very well done. Clearly you just suck/don't understand the combo mechanics...because the controls are very responsive, the combos are easy to do.
If i had to name my favorite "skill based" none button mashing fighting games this would be right behind marvel vs. capcom.
If only, N64 had online gameplay; this game would be HUGE!!!
now it fades into obscurity...sadly.
