  • Bloody diarreah...arrow in the knee etc

  • jamie i sverige gör vi inte så med blåbär :) kanske det blir bra,,vi får väl se...

  • @larsa2007 haha, skäms lite, Han får ju lära sig...

  • murder scene or what..

  • Does he cook like that in his restaurant ? I don't think so .Nobody will eat that :)

    Yack and yack

  • no olive oil jamie?...xD

  • it's alive!

  • You can find the end result at /watch?v=aS52d3hcHfs&feature=related. However, as a lot of my fellow Swedes pointed out: What are those? I have never seen anything like them before. (Vafan?!)

The look on his face during this whole video is priceless. It's as if he's thinking "what the fuck am I doing", which kind of is what all us Swedes are thinking when we are watching this.

  • stand up and work

  • the guy played a lot

  • I find this hilarious, I love how he tries to twist them into knots.

  • at the end it looks like gut with a bunch of flies

  • That's as swedish as tacos...

  • swedish buns are the best!!! this the pastry one is also quite nice ;)

  • He is doing it all wrong :)

  • being a swede ive never seen that before =)

  • i like how he makes a total mess!

  • he looks kind of tired in this video for some reason :(

  • @Amun960214 Yes :)

  • @Amun960214 Nope, it's blueberries

  • @Amun960214 No it's clearly blueberries. Lingonberries doesn't stain like that. Not trying to be a smartass but yes.. right should be right.

  • @Twigginss There are no blueberries in Sweden, its bilberries.

  • @simontja After looking up bilberries I guess you're right. I don't know if you're a Swede but in swedish it's called "blåbär" which directly translates into "blueberry", so you might understand how easy it is to use the wrong word :)

  • Never seen that in sweden but it looks delicious... when it's out of the oven that is. Before that it looks like he's gonna serve us severed limbs

  • It would have been good to see them cooked afterwards!

  • (pojkenmedkepsen) But that's the thing isn't it. He's here for making swedish food with a twist. I would def. say those bun are swedish - since you use same ingredients as kanelbullar but swop the cinnamon with swedish blueberries.. (as you can swop it with almond paste if you'd like) Wonderful Jamie!

  • That looks really tasty actually.

  • WTF is that? I've been a Swede for almost 20 years now, with a grandma making buns since i was a little kid, and I have never seen anything like it? Absolutly not ''Swedish'', that's for sure. Kanelbulle, that's what u should have done Jamie! ^^

And I knooow, maybe u caaan buy them in Stockholm, but u kan buy kebab and souvlaki to.. dosent mean it's Swedish.. (:

Looks like a corps to me!

  • @PojkenMedKepsen

But that's the thing isn't it. He's here for making swedish food with a twist. I would def. say those bun are swedish - since you use same ingredients as kanelbullar but swop the cinnamon with swedish blueberries.. (as you can swop it with almond paste if you'd like) Wonderful Jamie!

  • @finnjoelanton

Weeeell.. let's put it this way. He does NOT make it the way kanelbullar is made, no way near, and they dont look like kanelbullar ether? He uses dough, what's about the only similarity..? I mentioned kanelbullar because that IS real Swedish, not because I thought that it was kanelbullar he was going for in this vid! :)

  • im swedish and have never seen that stuff

  • @TheZuddipod modified kanelbulle.. verkar inte svårt att greppa det konceptet?

  • Never seen anything like that before, looks like they were just cut out of someones body. :D Looks tasty tho, gotta try them.

  • Jamie olivers sweden program will start in sweden next week!

  • looks kinda the texas chain saw massacre :D but i bet it tastes great ...jamie is the best

  • You're an inspiration Jamie

  • Not just one knob of butter. Many knobs of butter.

  • lol, rofl...looking at his reaction when he roll the dough, makes me laugh. lol

  • bloody nice, literally.

  • What IS HE DOING O.o I've never seen a swede do it like that... Never tasted "bullar" with blueberries either... You rool the dough together and CUT into pieces... We usually do them with butter and cinnamon.. Or perhaps vanillacream or something... this is totally bonkers!

  • @anme0827 You can get blueberry buns at most cafés around Stockholm. They're not exactly like the ones Jamie's doing, but that's kind of the whole point isn't it? After all, he is supposed to be inspired and creative, and not just copy some old swedish ordinary bun recipe. What would have been creative about that?

  • @Ilontappaja It's not specificically that he's doing 'em with blueberries.. It's the way he does 'em.. Looks like a 5 year old has been doin some cooking if you know what I mean..

  • I don't doubt that they will taste extremely good but that sure is a messy way of doing "bullar"!

  • omg hes doing it all wrong

  • ok im swedish and i laught all through this video im sorry but that looks like brains and i would recommend reeding the flower package to se how its done.

  • Whats the end product like? It looks like a delish mess though. <3 you jamie!

  • Is he aware of how difficult blueberry staines are to get out??

  • It is rather obvious that Jamie doesn't do his own clean-up! LOL!

  • I´m swedish and we never put orange on the buns.

  • @oskado15 you're missing the point. And you also didn't bother to listen....

  • Guys, I actually made these Using a Muffin Tray!

I did not do exactly what Jamie did ( Twist and Roll ), but made sort of a Bun Muffin! =)

Trust me on this, My kitchen was HORRID, But the bun was F****N GOOD!

Although i didnt use much blueberries since i live in Dubai ( Really hot, but amazing place ), These berries are hard to find!

  • You haven't been 2 sweden without tasting IKEA's own meatballs and 'tatoes!

  • What the hell, this is not Swedish :P

  • @leopold135

i was like the same:P wtf i thought he was doing "kroppkakor" or something like that:P I've never seen that ever:P

  • Wow Jättefin kombination där .... Nice Combinations... with feelings and new ideas.. Great Jamie \o/:-D

  • Bloody hell, anyone notice the flags on his arm?? They comprise the three centre flags that are in the real and original South African Flag! Namely, the Union Jack, the Orange Free State flag and the Vierkleur! (Four Colour). Wonder if he knows what he's wearing hehe!

  • @OuKrokodil what the f#ck are you on about?? He's not a racist!!

  • @sprokiejd Ya fuckin' plonker, did I say anything about racism, ya dickweed???Lmao!!!

  • look at it! what the fuck! haha

  • Sweden <3

  • damn, i missed this when it was on air here in Sweden :(

  • @Templarofsteel18 Imorgon kl 19:55 på femman går det ;)

  • @dackuuu va? hade för mig att det var i Fredags det gick O_o

  • no end result = fail ;-)

  • This looks awesome!

  • Watching this video proves that even the most retarded and handicapted people can make edible food........I think. Is this guy for real?? "Look mom, I made crappy looking bread and cant show the end result because it prolly looks like shit"..... "Thats nice honey, its time to change your diaper" hahahhahahahha

  • @Toolfan35 You think Jamie is retarded? ^^'' chef Ramsey and Jamie are like biggest rivals. So think Jamie beats you in cooking.

  • @wizardaim It's RamsAy!!!!

  • @OuKrokodil ayy... ramsay.

  • @Toolfan35 hahahahahhaha

  • Ouch, should show us the end result.... :(

  • how do you make the dough

  • We have buns too in Finland, but different technique to make these, you make the sheet of the dough, put stuff inside and then roll the whole thing as a long bun, then cut small buns from it and press little bit flat, it makes nice looking rolls :)

  • I want to see the result!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • inte riktigt appitising

  • It's really interesting that he did choose Stockholm and Sweden along with cities as Venice, Marrakesh, Athens etc. He said that Stockholm was his favourite chapter in the book, beforetime very underdog.

  • Can't say I've seen any buns like those here in Sweden, looks like a viking carnage... they were much nicer after some time in the oven though (you can the final result on his homepage).

  • Have u been to sweden james? I totally missed your "swedish cooking". I've have been enjoying your show for many years!! /C

  • you are just great! please continue, we need you

  • Jamie, I want to see what these look like when they come out of the oven!!!

  • They look totally delicious. I loved this show, the end was so funny lol

  • Jamie you are just too awesome! I love watching you make a difference and i would help in any way i could up here. The obesity in Vancouver, WA. is unreal. Follow the people into the WINCO grocery store and you won't believe the obesity and what's in their carts. CARBS, cookies, cakes and Nothing of any nutritional substance.

God Bless you and your efferts.

  • car crash indeed. any reason why the final product was not shown? :-)

  • Soooo making these tomorrow :)

Bought the book yesterday as well.

Annother perfect recipe. You can never go wrong with Jamie :)

  • This looks intense xD

  • woww... messy cooking ftw :D

  • i see in jamie eyes that he have fun with the berry's...cooking is so fun^0^

  • "kinda looks like a bit of a car crash" xD

  • That land looks beyond peaceful. Awesome.

  • @Wyclefdoug Exactly what I was thinking!

  • @Wyclefdoug It is, I promise :)

  • @Wyclefdoug u should see it for urself, then it's even better

  • Aaah. I was waiting to see the result, but it never came.. I`ll just have to try it myself then.

  • @martybarty expecting the baked goods too!!

  • am i the only one that when he gets his fingers dirty *really* wants to lick them?

    ^^

  • @maewe ja,ja...I don't want but he really is the one that make his dirty fingers a lovely thing...:D

  • thats looks realy good!

  • Get those hands "dirty"!

  • And they say it is not proper to play with your food ... I say cooking is playing :)
