Because the Beatles actually recorded a few things with manson. He was a big fan of theirs. This song is about Manson. He wrote Helter Skelter on a bathroom wall and that's what sparked the song.

Uhh...I'd like to see some documentation on that one, please. I also once heard that Manson met with McCartney at Brian Wilson's house—of course I read it in a YouTube comment! Do you know who Aleister Crowley is? He's the second guy from the left in the top row on the Sgt. Pepper's album cover, the crazy looking bastard. I'd say he's worse than Manson in the long-run, and they have him immortalized on the album art... The song could also be taken as an obsessive compulsive lover, hence the going up and down the slide over and over as OCD behavior. He could be stalking the object of his attractions, begging her to tell him what he wants to hear. Also, the part "I'm comin' down fast but don't let me break you," could be him telling her that he wants her bad enough to break her emotionally or maybe even physically. Kind of a new little twist.
