Yes, fragile - but don't let that put you off. They are great fun and if you get one with a servo saver... they are musch less likely to break.
On the other hand, I wouldn't recomend this particular car as we have had many problems with them in the first few outings. You may be better off spending a little more and getting something that will last you.

O rite, its really cold round where i live so i always have to run it rich, lol mines broke atm though i kinda blew my engine, i shot it to full throttle and it just cut out and all this smoke was pouring out the side of the engine, i think i blown the gasket. :-/
Oh dear, that sounds bad. The worse thing we have done to date is to accidentally submerge them in the deepest puddle you have ever seen... oops. But other than needing new batteries, they were fine.
