  • Sure lights off fast.

Is that a original German engine ?

  • @JOHNLCOOK

Yes, it's the only authentic wartime original Fw190 that's currently flying and it has an original BMW engine. Another original Fw190 restoration will be finishing soon (and I believe a third restoration is underway.)

  • No Longer an Enemy, Just History

    Fantastic!

    Thanks!

  • It belongs to Germany.

  • @uboot1967 they lost, its booty.

  • @uboot1967

The Luftwaffe had map coordinates of the crash site and they didn't bother to go and get it from 1943 to 1945, even though they were normally very good at retrieving their downed aircraft and returning them to service. I would consider this example abandoned by the Luftwaffe. There are plenty of WWII aircraft at the bottom of German lakes that are considered German property.

  • Fantastic. Thank you Mr. Paul Allen for preserving this amazing piece of aviation history.

  • Thanks for posting. Please post more clips of the butcher bird. :-)

  • What a beauty! Keep it safe! ;)
