  • the back lights look like chicken drumstick

  • I cant seem to turn what looks like to be my fog lights off... ive tried everything. im guessing theres always gonna be a set of lights on at all times...

  • @CALIIKIDRAY Those are called Daytime Running Lights (DRL) they turn on when you start the car, and they use the high-beams for this..

  • Hope does it work with iPhone

  • Theybare xenon there just not adaptive but the make visibility a brease

  • do you know the light bulb type ?

  • I have the same car! Its nice!!!!!! Hyundai did a great job on the new sonata. performance is good too for a 4 cyl

  • i like the taillights, they remind me of an acura looking from behind

  • thx for the vids, but I thought the new sonata had xenon headlamps plus LED at tail lamps... thats what I read on the hyundai website, maybe its the european model?

  • This Car dont have Bi xenox lighting

  • Nice to see Hyundai has FINALLY utilized dedicated DRLs. They must be one of the last car manufacturers not to. The turn signal repeaters are LED. To get HID on a Sonanta is ridiculuous. They should have LED taillamps though to compete with the Camry.

  • I noticed on the truck, the red lights do not lit up.... (ones below the white reverse signal) They are just there for show? No lights come up from there? or do they lit up once you apply breaks? (You'll need an assiatance or tripod to show in video). Thanks for the upload!

  • Cool stuff. Very helpful. DS

  • Dammit, you're lucky... the new Sonata is still at least 3 months away here in Australia. :(

  • uhh~~~,, no LED tail light, no HID, i will pass =[

  • You're wrong - the tail lights are LED.

  • LED Tail lights are only available for the Korean models, i suggest you go to a dealership and check it out yourself if you don't believe me. But you can purchase the LED Tail Lights from Korea OEM, for $420. Also the LED Tails have a buttom lit strip going from the first part of the tail light to the second little piece.

  • Looking again, I noticed that what I thought were lights at the lower rear-end,(near the tailpipe)don't light up.Are these just reflectors?

  • Yes, those are just reflectors.

  • @pcgeek86 Dude you should get HID's in the headlights and the in the fog lights. Then make a youtube video. Yellow lighting is just boring.

  • Good videos Trevor, thanks for taking the time to make and post them

What does the premium door SILs look like - I think on some of car models Premium SIL means a backlit SIL? Are the ones on the Limited backlit ?

  • @RamKat24: I'm not quite sure what you mean by SILs, sorry. Can you explain?

  • when you open the door look down it says Sonata on a plate. He's asking if it lights up on your limited.

For i.e. Fully loaded 4.6 Genesis door sils are light when the door is open, the light is blue and says Genesis.

  • @pcgeek86 Sorry, it may be a bonnet vs hood terminology thing. I am referring to the plate at the bottom of the door entrance that is visible when opening the door. On the top genesis the name GENESIS is printed on there and the GENESIt is backlit when the door is opened. I was wondering if Hyundais "premium" terminology used for the Sonatas sil plate also meant backlit

  • @RamKat24 Oh, now that you put it that way ... :) No, it's not lit up. That would be kinda cool though :)

  • Thanks for Sharing, I'm suprised you didn't get it with the nav. Since you didn't get the Nav package, do you not have the Infinity sounds system? If you do, could you review on the speakers and sound quality and show where the speakers are located, if im not mistakin it has 9 speakers.

  • @jabusiness89 I don't have the Infiniti sound system, nope. I don't know if that's included with the Nav package or not, but I think you're right that it is.

  • once you put it in the manual shift position it will keep the gears until you upshift. Downshifts will only happen automatically if you are going to stall.

  • Another fantastic showing!...Thanks.again.Could you comment on the manual shifting.Does it hold the gears, or does it automatically do it at certain points on it's own if you don't?

  • Glad you liked it, duhzzzz! :)

    @Syitalian25: Thanks for explaining!
