I do somewhat agree with your cause in some aspects, however... simply because I think it's pointless to wear fur now. We had to in centuries long past to keep ourselves warm... we have plenty of materials to serve that very same purpose now that look as good/better than authentic fur... so really, wearing fur is pretty pointless, and only serves to further screw the planet over, even more than we already have.
People who wear fur make me sick to the bone. You could easily use very realistic looking faux fur substitutes. There is absolutely NO NEED for the fur industry.

Of course fake is better, but it still promotes the image of real, as if that custom is something to hold onto with pride.
@1221solstice2012 I know exactly what you mean, but due to fashion, it is very hard to stop people from wearing fur - and at least by replacing fur with fake fur, it is a step in the right direction. At least in the UK, if you see what looks like fur on clothing in most shops (non designer) it is very very likely to be fake.
@sailhobiecat Thanks again. An awful lot of fur/fur trim products come from China now, and they've been known to label real fur as fake to help sales. You can google "china labels real fur as fake" or something to learn about this.
