  • i like these way good job

  • But you burned it

  • @celebratingfantasy , Even burnt, it was delicious! :)

  • طيبه كتير

  • Hi,

I once had a recipe where you mix labneh with raw minced meat and some tomatoes, then spread it over the dough. Do you an exact recipe for it?

It helps makes the meat juicy and prevent the dryness of it.

  • @poizonivy , i know this recipe but i do not have it online. the combination of yogurt and tomatos keep the meat moist and flavorful.

  • @cookingtheeasyway

Any ideas of the ratio? meat : yogurt: tomatoes?

  • @poizonivy ,for a pound of ground meat ( about half a kilogram) you may add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste or couple of diced fresh tomato. two tablespoons of yogurt would do the job too. hope the recipe works out for you.

  • too bad you burned the dough. I think a flat surface pan woulda been better.

  • I lovethis my mom makes it so good

  • original and looks yummy, ill give it a try and let me know :) shokran kteer

  • @lookingAclass, You are welcome! glad you liked it and i hope the recipe works out for you.

  • love the music!

  • @EmanMorrison , thanks!

  • odd sfeeha...

  • @R0uMazA , Please tell me what is so odd about it?? you are not the first one to say, but i would like to know what is sfeeha to you and others? i am confused!

  • @cookingtheeasyway لازم تكون مخبوزة بالفرن....العجين و اللحمة يكونوا نيين و يستوي داخل الفرن......لكن ماشالله شكلها طيبة صفيحتك

  • @ganee6a , Thanks for getting back to me on your recipe of Sfeeha...i always made it the way i did..i never used uncooked ground meat with dough before, but maybe i will one day..i am sure it has a different taste and good flavor. but mine is also very good, you should try it. :)

isn't the one you mentioned is the same recipe for 3arayes-عرايس?

  • @cookingtheeasyway welll.....its so close to it, but 3arayes is grilled, and as you know 3aryes is closed from 2 sides (up and down , meat in the middle) but sfeeha, the meat is exposed to fire from the upper side. yep your looks so tasty, matter of fact, im drolling lool

  • @ganee6a, thanks for the info regarding cooking methods for both Sfee7a and 3arayes. I am not a fan of sfee7a or 3arayes "your way" because the meat tends to be fatty and that is not appealing at all , at least to me. I pre-cook the meat to make sure it has no fat , i add the tomato paste to moisten it and then use it on the dough. easy, delicious and i do not claim that it is healthy, but its tasty. thanks for your input.

  • يبوا لذيذا ، الف شكر ..

  • @cookingtheeasyway well, the usual sfeeha which I am know is not like how you made yours- 1) safeeha is a bit larger in shape 2)the way you've cooked it is unusual comparing to the usual sfeeha 3)your sfeeha is ready made dough* 4) the way it's cooked in groups is odd 5) it's crowded 6) the background music is annoying.

  • @R0uMazA , thanks for your input. i appreciate it.

  • الموسيقى مزعجة جدا

  • @31JEC , غيرت الموسيقى...أفضل؟

  • Looks good, but have you ever thought some people might be allergic to latex???

  • @testri1 , I do not cook commercially, I only cook for my family and thankfully non of them have allergy to latex!

  • I would like very much to make my own zatar mix. Could you tall me the ingrediants and the proper amount.

    Love your youtube videos!

  • @ibinsaloom , Thanks for your nice comment, i really appreciate it. I will have to check out the recipe to make your own Zatar mix, once i find a good one i will send it to you. thanks again.

  • sorry but this is not sfiha

  • @hassansabbahi, Sfeeha comes in many different shapes and forms also it has many names..this is what i call Sfeeha, you might call it something else. Thanks for coming by and leaving a comment.

  • @cookingtheeasyway watching this video I notice toward the start after dropping the meat into the pan and putting onion flakes on top of it you pour something from a box .....was that salt? it seemed an unusally large amount if it was. I have high blood pressure and wonder if that much would be avisable....I suppose that was one pound of meat?

  • @TheBabyboomkidof53 , yes that was salt...sometimes salt brand differ in the amount of salty taste they have, some brands are mild others are really salty, just add salt as much as you like to your recipe, you may change anything in the recipe that suites your taste and the way you like things...no recipe is itched in stones! since you are the one cooking and eating, just do it the way you like. it was about 1-1.5 pounds of ground meat. hope the recipe works out for you. thanks.

  • ...so how long were they in the oven for and at what temp?

  • @masricandy , Bake at 450 degrees for about 15 minutes. But depending on your oven it might take less or more time. You can refer to the info section on this video to read more about the recipe on my blog :)

  • dont be scared to touch the food with your hands

  • I am not afraid at all touching the food with my hands, but i do not like to get the smell sticking on my hands when i am working with onions, garlic, meats , fish and chicken. :)
