  • Your boy is gorgeous and must feel so much better (physically and therefore mentally) for your decision to pursuit biomedical means to heal his body from this disorder, which IS very much a medical issue. Good for you, everyone who is naysaying is throwing sour grapes. They should pick them up and make wine for their own healing or just say nothing.

You did a wonderful thing in healing your boy when no one else can give answers. He is worth it!!

  • @paulwady I wonder why you are so invested in this illness. Anyone who has struggled with self expression, with or without Autism, would be happy at the prospect of freedom to express oneself with more ease. Why aren't you? Why do you fight so hard and with such hostility at the prospect that recovery is real?

Well, go ahead, attack me again. I don't care, I really don't. The numbers of healthy children grows every day, no matter who says they can't.

  • great video, very inspiring for us that are starting this journey with our almost 2 year old son.

  • love it

  • This is fantastic~~

  • Hi and thanks for this video. This is the best success video I've seen for ABA,etc. I did Sonrise with my child and he is recovered as well. You know, you just have to find a program and stick to it because they do work. I am a behaviour interventionist and do different kinds of therapy and I see how many children can have a very good quality of life when they get a proper diagnosis and therapy. I am happy for you and your family. You worked hard and it has paid off.

  • @lynnstewart2326

Hi lynn, I am thinking about doing the start up son rise program for my son 3 yrs non verbal , stims a lot, tempers over not being able to communicate, would like to know how u found it ?

  • god bless my heart goes out to that precis little bubby my grandsons just been found to be autistic i wish after 5 months i could stop crying one day i will he such a wonderfull child

  • Actually, any improvement is due to upgrading your childs functionality. Their ability to learn to do Neurotypical things and behave the way you want them to. Simple as that.

Nothing wrong with this and well done. But they are not cured of how their brains were made when they were born. Just more able to relate and learn. Detoxing young people generally has a great effect on their minds. Good luck.

(Anyone in either of your families show any mild Autism or Neurodiversity?)

  • @paulwady Neurodiversity? What is that supposed to mean exactly? Every human being has neurodiversity. We call neurodiversity by a number of other names: personality, talent, skill, interest, quirks, individuality. Austim is NOT neurodiversity, it is a treatable illness, from which many children world-wide are recovering.

  • @popcornwbutter You show a frightening ignorance. You are seeing autism the way you want to.

Neurodiverisity is the reality that not all brains are made the same. How can you see everyone as being either damaged or uniformly 'normal'?

I have worked in a major UK autism charity for over 5 years. I meet parents, children & adults with autism all the time. Last night a Mother told me it was she who passed it to her daughter. Its how you are made. All else is the act, functionality etc.

  • @paulwady You need to meet children or famlies of children who have recovered. I will not share my, "credentials", with you, but five years of working with or watching children and adults with autism is not authority, no offense. Don't be threatened by the idea that people can recover, it's a wonderful thing! You need to learn more about recovery, then, you will become an advocate for treatment. If you work with kids with autism, I'm sure you care about them. Find out more, please.

  • @popcornwbutter This is surreal.

You learn to relate. You upgrade yours social skills. You can certainly look and act better, as if neurotypical.

Actually I personally am living proof of what you are saying, as are many people I can introduce you to. Sure.

I quite believe you are telling the truth. But they are not recovered in the way you mean. Just relating and acting in acceptable ways.

Please consider this in future. Good stuff - but don't be fooled by us. It is all perspective.

  • @paulwady I define recovery as (1) indistiguishable from one's peers, (2) having uninhindered personal and social expression and development, without sacrificing indivuality.

Dr. Martha Herbert (perhaps the most presigious neurologist in the US ) has stated that autism is not, "hard wired", ( not something a kid is born with), but harm from the environment happening after birth. She reached this conclusion after an extensive, five year study of cadaver brains and MRI's. Recovery is real.

  • @popcornwbutter Well your Doctor is a fool or a liar.

Everyone can learn. Simple. Autistics learn to relate. Simple. What you think is recovery, is simply growing up to act and feel neurotypical. My wife and I did it, loads of us do it throughout our lives.

You do not know any adults with autism, do you? You only know about kids doing neurotypical impressions. I have spent 5 years in a major autism charity. Kids, teenagers, adults, reading, you name it.

Do you make a living from this?

  • @popcornwbutter Point 2 is a paradox for my kind. In order to have point 1, you have to sacrifice your autistic individuality.

I am not any ordinary autistic. I make a study of all this & know older autistics in neurodiverse politics. I suspect you make money out of all this, pedaling miracle cures? Autreat? Autism Right Movement UK? Autreat? Autistics with phd's? Oh yes.

You have no idea, do you? OOH, THEY MUST BE CURED! Haha.

Ask any of us who we inherited it from. Mercury/vaccines=crap.

  • @popcornwbutter Also, I would assume none of these children are teenagers who can relate to the whole thing yet. Give it time, the perspective I am using will become apparent.

I speak from the opposite end of the same experience you are at the start of. I'm autistic & with teenagers & adults. You are kids.

Well, good luck. Sounds like great stuff. Makes parents happy! Sadly in the UK, we don't live in Disneyland. x

  • @popcornwbutter More accurately, where one is Neurodiverse. That is, your brain is wired differently from the majority - what you could call normal. Neurotypical.

You do not work with autistic people. You only know parents & the odd wierd child who should be normal. You don't know how to see things. Your groups beliefs determine autism.

I do not condone where autism means antisocial/harming behaviour. Good luck with 'curing' that. But I speak for a lot of us you know? Or do you?

  • How can I find information on these treatments. I have a nephew who was just diagnosed.

  • @Hot4stockchick Contact the Autism Research Institute or Talk About Curing Autism (TACA). TACA has local chapters.

  • I dont understand why you call it "managed recovery" because he is on supplements and diet. we all need supplements and diet changes for health. In any illness or not , if we eat crap we feel like crap:-)

  • have u heard about watercure ? What the kid is drinking ? I have always wondered that we ppl focus on food but not really on what we drink.

  • Help. My son is 4.5 and with non-verbal Autism. Only says a few words at a time. No eye contact. Stems, the whole 9 yards. I am moved by your video. What exactly did you do for him? Need help. Thank you.

  • I don't know how you can deal with all the ignorant comments.

  • I am so inspired by your son's progress. My son Robert is 8yrs old and is autistic. I would love to know more about this treatment. Can you tell me where to go for more info?

  • Hey guys! Thanks for the nice comments. We decided years ago not to listen to naysayers and downers and chose to stay positive and committed to helping our son. He has been on a GFCF diet for 3 years, has done antivirals, antifungals, antibiotics, etc; have done 250 hours of mHBOT and chelated him for heavy metals. Aggressive biomed combined with an intensive ABA program for 3 years has brought miraculous improvements to the point of no longer having an autism diagnosis. You should see him now

  • @tommychorman808 You just rock. Thanks for sharing your lives with us!

  • good work!!! and don't listen to the clueless people like siegfreud who have no idea what their talking about because they chose not to "get their hands dirty with the messy stuff." Keep it up!

  • hello my name is Ralitsa and im amaiset by what happened to your son so qwick my son is already 5 and has been on speach and language terapi for over a year and no respond also hi is on diet no respond hi was on nistatin no changes biomedikal treatment from the usa no respond on acopuncture no respond on special aminoasids no respond almost 2,5 sins hi is diagnosed could i just ask you for a favoure is there anything im doing wrong so i cant get any benefit to my son.

  • omarish5, i understand getting excited over a magic pill such as a diet, but unless your child been diagnosed gastrointestinal issue, all you're doing is making it harder for his educators and depriving your kid. most of the low functioning children that recover do so through blood, sweat, and tears, as i'm sure this family also did. In 10 years as a teacher i have never heard of a diet curing any child. still, this is an amazing video.

  • I must say that this makes me really have hope. My son will be three in April. He is diagnosed with the autistic disorder. We are starting biomed in two weeks! We have been on the diet now for 7 months.

  • did this boy have a special diet??????

  • As a mother of two kids on the spectrum and also on the the Bio med treatment for 2 1/2 years I was touched by your video. I know what it is to go through ABA like that. But it pays big when you see a child happy like yours. I loved the Happy feet part, my older son did the same thing!

    Congratulations.

  • Sorry if I-m wrong, but I see your another child, the younger brother of Kai, in front of the TV doing the typical "autistic" things. If you put the vaccines to your 2d child also, there is a danger that your 2d child will have the same problem very soon. My son has 6 years with autism due to vaccines. He did the same when he was 18 months-2 years old. Hope I-m wrong!

  • you been doing some do it youreself study huh?

i hope for youre children that someone bursts youre bubble reall soon, so they at least can get the right picture

  • As a parent of a 5 y/o Autistic child, having worked in the medical field, majored in Biology & graduated with honors; I appreciate what the biomedical intervention is doing with these kids; my son just started on biomedical, I have a long way to go; I only wish we could afford it better! Ignore the negative; embrace the positive; Blessings to you and your beautiful boy

  • @JustinsRecoveryWish I'm not familiar with the biomedical, what is is? Thanks

  • As a father of an autistic child, it reallys gets to me when naive people like SpokaneGirl85 and SiegFreud spout off things when they themselves don't have autistic children. It's easy to can the kettle black when the lights are off, but what's not easy is teaching a child with autism to express themselves through language and gestures.

  • Please do not pay attention to the ignorant that posted negative critics, your son have millions of chances now to be happier thanks to what you did. I wish my 4 years old can do what yours was able to do at 6. We are trying hard also, I hope it works. Thanks for keeping the hope alive

  • Aloha AEJCUS, HOPE IS ALL WE HAVE FOR THEM !!!! KEPT FIGHTING FOR YOUR KID!!! GOD BLESS YOU GUYS.. ALOHA, A VERY PROULD DADDY : )

  • Wow you have worked so hard and it shows! My son is also recovering. Ignore those negative comments. You do what's best for your child and clearly being able to speak and communicate his wants and needs is better than letting him spin in circles screaming! He's clearly developing amazingly because of intervention!! Your family is so awesome for seeing him through bio-medical and on to a brighter future!! I pray my son has a similar outcome with the DAN! protocol, GFCF, HBOT and ABA!

  • This looks like the therapy I may have gotten when I was little and I turned out just fine. What would have happened to me if my mom didn't get me the treatment I needed? Maybe not be where I am now, pregnant and married and living in my own apartment. How fair would that be for me if she didn't help me?

  • oh my! What a blessing! I work with Special needs adults, many who have autism. Unfortunatly many were put into group homes when they were little, and had no training. so they don't speak, throw tantrums, agress towards others. I am so glad that you posted this video, so parents of Autistic Children can see their kids can learn and be better! It must have been very difficult to see your child crying and so upset during the "Treatments." What patience the teacher had. Kudos for you!

  • this is excellent stuff

  • This is awesome! Thank you for sharing. My son is 6 years old and has recovered in the same fashion that yours has. You brought back many memories for me...
