This music has more instruments, adds a lot more effects, is a lot more intricate, and sounds more like the mystical, exotic music it was supposed to sound like rather than just a bunch of notes. And while I agree that many songs were better in GSC than in HGSS, sometimes it seems like people just mindlessly prefer the original of things for the sake of being "nostalgic". Can't argue with your opinion though.

HeartGold is without doubt the best Pokémon game I've ever played. A remake of the best Pokémon game, an awesome region, the best storyline, the BEST music (this and some of the routes are simply outstanding remixes) and in my opinion the best set of Pokémon (plus the best legendary ever - Mewtwo). Addictive, beautiful, and I love the feudal Japanese influences, so amazing and awesome compared to the kind of bland Sinnoh.

You know, with Dark types already having existed for three generations now, it really is a wonder they haven't introduced Light types yet. I guess they don't want to introduce any new types, but it would only make sense, really.

A dark counterpart to Arceus may have been interesting, but it would have too closely resembled certain real-world religions. Besides, it would have to have been in Generation IV. They wouldn't make a counterpart in a different generation.

What`s interesting is that despite it being a Normal-typ attack (without a Plate attached), Arceus` signature move, Judgement, is it firing shots of light energy, which would definitely be a "Light-type" move if such a type exited. Unfortunately, since in the 12th Movie, Arceus was shown with Plates for all types, they wouldn`t be able to create more without contradicting it "creating the universe".

@SuperYoshiTTD I disagree for the sheer fact that Psychic cannot damge Dark. If Psychic was the same thing as Light then it would be supereffective against Dark instead no effect what so ever. Psychic if anything is a combination of Light and Dark in reality. Bug was already a counter to Psychic in Green/Red/Blue. There were just so little Bug type moves to tell the difference. And there were already a TON of Pokemon made to begin with so truly, Psychic was never overpowered.

You're right, Light isn't Psychic. If you're thinking of a "light defeats dark" kind of type then Fighting is for you. It's basically the "justice hero" type in Japanese, which is why Fighting is super-effective against Dark.
