I play this game now on Marine dificullty and you need to shot him like 3 or more times with a rocket launcher!

The double barrel shotgun wasn't the only weapon used to kill the hellknight. The BFG was also used. BFG rounds damage all demons that are near the blast radius. And, the more you charge a BFG, the greater is the damage done.

And at 0:31, I fired a BFG round charged to the max. It sent one hellknight flying and seriously damaged his buddy, who was close enough to the blast. After that, a shotgun blast to the head, at close range, was enough to kill it.

this doesnt look anything like hell from the first game or a stereotypical hell, i have to say i was dissapointed with hell in doom 3, it was ok, but in hell u would have other people suffering and being tortured, i would have liked to see hell where u see people being torured brutally and people screaming the whole level, it would make the level more scary and realistic

nice. but sometin dont smell right....there's one part where u take down a hellknight with one hit from the DBSg. Having just done that very same part 2 hours ago, i can tell u right now there's no way even a direct point-blank head shot will kill a hellknight like that.

The discharge from the BFG weakens nearby enemies and causes massvive damage to enemies standing around after it explodes.

The hellknight must have been pretty close to where I fired the fully charged BFG round and thus it suffered a lot of damage, thus making it easy for me to kill it with just one Shotgun blast at close range.

If I were using cheats, I should have been able to kill all the other enemies as quickly. The hellknight obviously suffered splash damage from a fully charged BFG blast I fired a few seconds before I killed it with the shotgun.
