  • im'a 21'st century teen and im lovng this ahaahah :p please mr poooost man

  • I love the 50's and 60's.But everyone has their taste for music and that's just fine. :)

  • Am I the only one who likes to think they're saying "Mr Bossman"?

  • Why aren't they singing about dubs and swag and whatever?

Oh they have class that's why

  • Real singing artists.....The Hip Hoppers need to listen and learn because 90% of today's artist can't hold a note period.

  • @beejamm1 Thats because back in the day they actually sung! Now days they do a lot of studio twiking! Why do you think that when an old skool artist performed back then on stage they sound the same as they did on the record, but when a new artist today performs on stage they sound better on the record?

  • the dubstep verison did so good remixing this

  • the beatles brought me here. im sure most people here can say the same.

  • just thinkin,i was only one year old and my future husband was finishing up his second tour of vietnam.

  • Jeez, girls, don't shoot the messenger!

  • Good song...but I like the Beatles version better.

  • real music, makes no money. only crap sells.

  • @piperjayne unfortunately, true D:

  • @piperjayne money corrupts artists to rush and not care, makes them lazy, they lose the caring touch

  • can someone tell me why nicki minaj is involved with this?

  • Carpenters version RULES!!!!!!!!!!

  • The Beatles version is way better

  • @GAMINGn00bs1105 lol u wish

  • @WiIIiam209 its just that these wemon are kinda slow with the song and the beatles are fast and on key

  • @WiIIiam209 This version creams on The Beatles lolol. <3

  • Back then, it was worth looking forward to Mister Postman. Ever since he started bringing credit card bills & spam flyers, my love for him left.

  • @sudukohustler For me it went from birthday cards to court notices.

  • 21 peoples children look like the postman.

  • Talán a Beatles előtt????

  • Where's the Love button?

  • I agree with Flexy319

  • The postman didn't passed through the house of 21 people

  • I wish music was still like this!

  • @mclennonism I could`nt agree or said it any better,thank you !!!

  • 21 people never get any mail.

  • :)

  • 21 people listen to Stupid Hoe

  • #94(Tie)

  • among the best from this era, still a great version.

  • no one can listen to this and NOT tap Something!!

  • America was very normal back then, no rap and other disgusting shit.

  • @xGeneral357 no need to call black people that .

  • @xGeneral357 this was after slavery, discrimination sounds pretty normal

  • poor postmen, still waiting lovers letters!!! great song!

  • I don't see why people feel like they have the need to compare music from then to now...What's the point? It's not going to change anything, nor is it going to change the brilliance of this song. So, just let it go.

  • R.I.P. Gladys Horton!

  • Please can somebody explain to me how to we got from this to a talentless shit who thinks wearing a dress of meat gives her talent

  • echt top nummer

  • I don't know how we went from classy music like this to, nikki minja with a song called stupid hoe. .... what happened and how????

  • @MichelleJ817 Exactly. Nicki Minaj uses crazy outfits and funny voices to cover the fact that she has no real talent. I bet she was hiding the thesaurus and rhyme book under that ridiculous little red riding hood cloak she wore at the grammys.

  • @MichelleJ817 It's simple, people became less intelligent and thus their taste in music became worse.

  • @MichelleJ817 who the f..k is nikki minja

  • from this to nicki minaj... what the hell happened?!?!

  • @Flexy319

Actually, there were some good music in every era. 50's Tennesse waltz by Patti Paige 60's Stop in the name of love by Supremes, rhythm of rain by Cascades 70's Always on my mind,I will always love you, 80's MJ thriller, 90's My heart will go on by Celine Dion and in the 2000's Christina hurt and britney baby one more time. It's just I think music start turning into robotic, too much autotune by the mid 2000's. In 2010's only 1 out of 20 songs that sound remotely good.

  • @viczhou11 TRUE. Michael is the man! but my comment was about female artists of today. it's crap. katy perry, lady gaga, nicki minaj, kesha. there's no meaning behind any of that music what-so-ever. the 60's was truly the golden age of music.

  • @Flexy319 I agree... I think the only female I listen to right now is Adele..

  • @Flexy319 She's trash in a BAD WIG cant stand her

  • @MrzBossLady216 no kidding! her style is whack!

  • @Flexy319 yeah really! :D This is what I call music I was born in the wrong decade.

  • @Flexy319 everyone wants to shine (on their own)

  • @Flexy319 True so true!

  • @Flexy319 we're 50 years into the future...things change its ashame

  • @DubbFaced that's true =[ it's sad

  • @Flexy319 Haha right...Destiny's Child didn't have anything on these chicks either.

  • @gypsy927 I know right, not a Damn Thing!

  • @Flexy319

    right??!

  • @Flexy319 Good question. It's actually depressing if you think about it.

  • that voice! very raw.. beautiful!

  • This reminds me of SM:TV live:)

  • i can see robert de niro swinging a pool stick to this(mean streets)...none the less a good song ..

  • je préfère Karen Carpenter.....

  • tuff luck if you missed this era ,seen it done it ,great memories.

  • i just wish the song was longer!<3

  • how bloody fun does the 60's look??? damn

  • I think it's wack that top comments on older 50's 60's songs are allways the same with younger kids saying they were born at the wrong time. I almost wish they weren't ever born so that they couldn't say when they wish they were born. I think it's great that we're born whenever and we got internet and are able to pick though the 50's-60's music and have it all accessible. I also didn't know how to spell accessible, I googled it. In the 60's I'd have to look in a dictionary, that would suck!

  • @JimmySmithWesson piss off old fart

  • @brewcrew337 I'm not an old fart, just a 23 year old kid that was born in the wrong time :(

  • CRUISIN' OLDIES!

  • This Literally is an awesome song, The OldSongs are better then New ones i noticed.....

  • If there is a just God, somewhere up there Amy Winehouse is cleaning all their windows.

  • Few songs have the rhythm and soul of this tune

    Truly a classic R & B number

  • I think they look absolutley beautiful on 1:29

  • Even though in a way I feel like I was born in the wrong era, I'm also happy.. now I can find all of the best songs of that and many other eras on YouTube and enjoy them all! There's no one to stop you from listening to the music that YOU enjoy, so enjoy today for what it is! :)

  • Amazing vocal ;O

  • This song is amazing!

  • In Los Angeles, on I believe KFWB; one of the D J's, quite possibly Cleve Hermann, would play a jingle he put together right before he playey this record..

It went: "Postman, Postman, don't be slow, be like Elvis; GO MAN, Go"

then he went straight into this song

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!

  • when i was 14 some years ago i heard this song thought it was amazing and when walking to school with my friends i saw a postman and sang this to him ok not the whole song but the opening line he went bright red ....

  • @sarahrebekuuh

    yeah me too !!!

  • @sarahrebekuuh

I say that to myself every single day. The music that's made today is crap.. Instead of being born in 1996, should have been born in '46

  • @sarahrebekuuh

Hope you're white and male. Idiot.

  • @NotTheOrleansMaid Because this is a white male band, isn't it? Not everyone back then was "horribly abused" for not being white and male.

  • @BizzarreProductions

    God, you're dumb.

  • @NotTheOrleansMaid

    and what's your problem?

  • @PernixUltor

  • 3 sexy girls good melody..

  • little known fact, Marvin Gaye played drums for this track

  • WAIT A MINUTE!!

  • My boyfriend is several hundred miles away and our method of communication is going to be letters for a while...so I have a feeling that this song is going to be exactly how persistent I am. My mail man is gonna hate me.

  • To the young people who say "This is real music" and other nice things, I say this: DEMAND from your generation of entertainers this type of quality.

  • RIP Georgeanna Tillman

  • I freakin love this song.

  • Classic.

  • RIP Gladys Horton.

  • I danced with them back in the 60,s and got their new record for being on of the first 50 kids there. Then one of them just came back to KY It was over 100 out side and I went down and danced with her one more time to I will surive. I am 64 now. Pretty cool I was about 15 the first time.

  • 1961 - 2012.

    damn wtf.

  • I retired as a letter carrier 12 years ago but one summer in 1978 nearly every day when I approached this certain house on my route these school girls would start blasting The Carpenters version of Please Mr. Postman. I was only 31 then, anyway, anytime I hear any version I get nostalgic for a walk on Lake Angela Dr. in La Mesa Ca.

  • @stanleysford thats pretty cool man. lucky bastard lol
