I have this sidekick, and I need NOW! For somebody to anwser me these two questions PLEASE! How do I get it so that when I recieve a text, right away its makes an Alert! When I get a txt he only tells me every 2 minutes? or after I see the blue light, my god that light is hell!! is it possible? can I get it do say message right away? and can I make it different colors for different people sending messages? please anwser, thanks!!!!

u hav to go0o to phone messaging, then text messaging, then settings, and then go to new message alert and choose the ring you want. but u hav to have ur phone volume in at least soft for you can here it.

ey can you help me i have a sidekick 2008 but when i ge a message it doesnt alert me i save the setting and i choose a message tone and evrything and it will still not alert me when i get a message can you help me out

that happened to me b4,do u have a sidekick plan? if not that is your problem, when u change plans u have to power cycle your phone (takin battery out for 30 seconds) and turn sk08 back on and it should work

the 2009 is not even out as of it, but the 08 is 299$ without a contract and 150 with a contract. the data plan is 20$ and it may be one, but i have flex pay so when i signed up i didnt have one.
