i have it for nintendo ds but if u jump on top of the thing at 2:22 instead of getting the box with the hat see what the other box has cause it has the shell which u can use to get on top of the pillar. it has that for ds so i hope this will help

where do yu get the flying cap

Get Ten Stars or something and go to the sun symbol in the main hall (The first area of the castle) if you have 10+ stars there should be a glowing light, look up at hit, go to flying cap level hit switch and done.
