  • someday for a future vid you should attempt to line up every century made fan and motor you own it would sure make an interesting shot! i want to try and get a shot of my entire collection together running of my 6.5 kw kohler generator someday!

  • Nice! I would love to have one of these some day. love the startup noise.

  • Very nice! I like the sound those split phas motors sound on startup.

I've seen a few of these on the AFCA forums, it's neat that some of the have five speeds.

  • All the Century skeletal fans that I have seen do have 5-speeds. All were made to run on the lower 104 to 110 range, hence on todaze 120VAC the difference between the speeds is very little. Run on a variac, the difference is more pronounced. However, the newer S3, there is a larger difference between the five speeds.

Yeah, the howling of those skeletal motors is neat. These fans were not meant to be used in houses, rather in those large old offices, they are loud and blow like heck!

  • All those fans have a great start up sound.

  • those are sweet!

  • can you show the s-3's oscilator in action front veiv side veiw and back view please! im jealous of your collection!

  • cool!
