Talking about nuts! Almost one year later, and the site is 'quite improved'! They have added a whole string of services and support plans. "Instant" help is 29 Euro or 30 USD. It goes up to 5 years of 'support' for hundreds of Euros or Dollars.

This happened to me but I only had ubuntu in a VM which wouldnt load:( so I only went as far as viewing their website via googles cache:( In all I wasted 45 minutes of their time talking to 3 different people :D When I wouldnt type the code in on logmein they were really irate! But still 45 minutes of my time well spent :D

LOL i got the exact call the indian guy said "hi my name is Mike Smith (WTF he is indian?!) i am a representative of windows (dude its Microsoft) i knew it was a scam straight away and started toying with them (JUST REMEMBER WTH WOULD MICROSOFT WORRY ABOUT YOUR COMPUTER AND CALL YOU) didnt get thier phone umber/company unfortunately.

thanks for this video. I have been receiving calls identical to this for about three weeks now. I nearly fell for it, then received an update from a collegue stating this was a scam, clearly a very elaborate one!!! My advice to anyone who is getting these kind of cold calls is simple: IF IN DOUBT, HANG UP AND IGNORE THE CALLS!!!! Some less than tec savvy people will easily be fooled... just ignore these calls.
