that semi-auto crossbow was an invention by zhuge liang. its called the zhuge-nu, or the chu-ko-nu. google it.

I like the clip showed the Han armies using the Crossbow - its invented in China and the only military in the world using it at the time - This is one of the reasons the armies fighting in Red Cliff are the best in the world at the time.
