Pretty nice, but... doesn't seem practical for any kind of serious music application due to the latency. :-(

I'm building a multi-touch computer right now and I want to try using it in a live music setting, so latency's a huge deal for me.

How did you manage to reduce it?

@ryepdx Well it depends how you're making it. But this method is using a camera - so simply getting a camera with higher FPS will decrease the latency drastically. :)

Music is a tough one though because if you want more percussive type interaction then it's hard to get low enough latency.

you build it yourself very easy you need a sheet of acyllic a webcam and an office projector and an old floppy disk to turn the webcam into an ir camera
