Why I picked the Palm Centro

You've probably moved on to a pre or iphone, and most likely because the Centro failed on you so easily. I'm sticking with my Treo, a GREAT smart Palm OS productivity phone.

I chose my Palm OS Treo because I use Tasks and the Calendar to get my life and work organized. I need it everyday.

Excellent point about verizon's horrible user interface. Some people don't realize how bad it is and how limited is in terms of 3rd party applications. That is what makes Palm and Windows Mobile phones better. Windows mobile tends to be very slow and has its flaws. Palm is simple, clear, fast and reliable. Yes it's dated but its still rock solid and for every day use its fine.

what is the character limit when texting? the previous phones that i've had has a 160 character limit, and i want something that is not so limited. it's just a pain having to go back and restart another message because you ran out of characters.

there is no limit. if u go on 180? characters i think, it just goes onto another message automaticlly for you.

uhh can u make a vid on where u get your apps and how u get ur music onto your centro i go to program files then go to my palm click add-ons and paste my music in there put it didnt hot sync or go to my centro after i did that

yeah i have the palm cantro in white and i like it and they keys arent that great because they are kinda small and my fingernails ALWAYS make lined in them! i really white the iphone 3G..do you think its worth it?

@KWFluffy I've been a PDA user for many years, that whole syncing is overrated. I never sync my smartphone/Palm OS PDA with a computer. Its a waste of time for me. The device IS the organizer. The Mac is the computer.

i love the palm centro!!!! i got one for Christmas and it so easy to use. from all of the cute colors y did u pick blue it is very nice though........that is all i have to say.... thanks for the video

I have a Sprint one.love it ....it does everything i like. glad you made this vid. It plays snes , nes, gameboy, arcade games as well..in addition to the internet , email, aim yahoo....calendar, voice memo, call recording and so on. Its worth it. not to mention you don't have to use the generic launcher there is the iphone immation, and many others. I gave this 5 stars. One wonderful review. Thank you!.

I got this phone and i love it! If u ad Opera Mini, and SkinUI.. It'll be more modern and better.. I luv this phone a lot..

But i do feel like palm should have put new software on this.. This runs on the same old palm os 5.. But Luckily, starting q1 of 2009 they will be releasing the newest version of palm os .. I hope they let us get a free software upgrade,lol

I'm a MacBook user, and I'm concerned about how well the Centro syncs with Address Book and iCal. I see that you're a Mac user, too, and I'd appreciate it very much if you would let me know if there are any syncing problems, or if there is any extra software I'd need to buy to get the Centro to sync with my Mac. Concerning the Palm OS, you mentioned similarities to the iPhone, well, did you know that the Palm developers originally worked on Apple's Newton and when Apple shut down the Newton they went and created the Palm.
