  • @LincolnOsama it's baking. It's literally enveloped in heat for the whole time cooking in it's own moisture as opposed one source of heat on a heated pan.

  • Nicko, i love watching your recipes although i haven't tried any of them yet. I have noticed that you don't often season your dishes before cooking them. For example, you didn't use any salt or pepper to season the meat or the tomato paste in this video. Wouldn't it taste better with some salt?

  • You could probably also make a vegetarian version of this, by substituting the cubes of beef for parboiled potatoes or some other sort of vegetable, zucchini (summer squash) and eggplant would work well too. You could even make a vegan version by replacing or removing the cheese.

    Basic recipes are great because you can adapt them to your preferences. Thanks Nicko! =D
