the lightning is made by using a little LED light and having a camera with an open shutter for a certain amount of time and you just draw in the air with the flashlight. It is called light graffiti.

you just draw a line with a lite in front of the camera taking the picture i guess. you just need a exposure time of a few seconds. then you put some pictures you made this way and put them together...
