@187streetsoldier It's 11 ply Baltic birch. It's supposed to be stronger and definitely is lighter than mdf.

negative runs aren't that effective. grounding in the rear is just as much if not more effective and try subs forward and port up...but your system is SO cleam man great work that box is amazing looking also Fi FTW!!

Nice system man, that thing will BUMP!! What deadener did you use on your floor and room, and also what type of expanding foam did you use? I've been looking for some for a pretty big sealing job with out any luck.

@IhaveaSCOTT2 I used second skin for the floor and roof, and I used great stuff large gap filler expanding foam. You can find great stuff at major hardware stores. For really big jobs if you can find a place that sells boat building materials they should have a 2 part foam that u mix yourself but I'm not sure how easy it would be to apply.

@lukenamiee It seals the box, adds strength to the joints, and it adds some strength to the box to prevent it from flexing

@lukenamiee It really depends on the application. For a small box or a box that won't see a lot of power bracing alone will be fine. If you have the space for a slightly larger box and weight isn't a problem it would be cheaper and stronger to double up all the sides of the box. But if you have limited space and weight is an issue then yes I would recommend using fiberglass.

@JoSeDbZcOoL Thanks. A 5'x5' was only like $10 more than a 4'x8' sheet of mdf. I had the box wrapped profesionally but I'm sure they just traced the Fi logo I gave them on a piece of foam, cut it out then glued it to the box then wrapped it.
