This man's genius is a truly singular, transcendental phenomenon. To naysayers of this cover, you might want to think about how Hedges is using the guitar's polyphonic capabilities in the most efficient manner possible; he efficiently emulates a full band with one instrument. From a compositional perspective, that is an absurd accomplishment! They didn't call him a one man guitar army for nothing!

I have a love/hate thing going on with this cover cuz the guitar sounds filthy but the dude needs to be slapped, lol ! I give it to him though, he has no shame in his game taking on this song with just an acoustic and his vocals.

He does such great live covers! One of my favourites is "A Love Bizzare" by Sheala E. & Prince, I think it was, great intro. I hate the original, but MH just lets reality follow through every time... peace.

He opened with this in concert on one tour. Wireless transmitter, dancing around. In a black tank top, two layers of boxing trunks, a microphone built into a bowler hat. If he'd just done that song and left, it'd have been better than any show I had seen in that decade. We miss you, Michael.

oh god :| :| :| I think he's an alright guitarist but he's really ruined the song. 'Buffalo Stance' is one of my most favourite songs ever and as a musician and guitarist i know how easy it was for him to compile that shit. Oh well...at least he tried it :S

this is his interpretation of this song, and maybe you don't like it cos you're too used to the original.. but seriously, what's the point of covering a song if you're gonna do it the exact same way?

i sorta felt that way i guess, when i heard his cover of bob dylan's "all along the watchtower", but it took me a few months to realize how great hedges was..
