Dear All,

I have some questions about psychology:

(1) Why do we enjoy flying an aeroplane?

(2) What does flying and aviation mean to females?

(3) Why do girls want to fly high and become a pilot? (eg. express her talent)

(4) Through flying, what have female pilots proved and demonstrated to the world? or, What kind of social value(s) have female pilots brought up?

Candace and the rest of the crew are just wonderful at Great Western Soaring School. My 91 year old Dad went for a glider ride this past weekend! It was on his "bucket list". He hasn't stopped talking about it since then. Thank you everyone for making my Dad's life old dream come true!!

This girl soloed at Great Western Soaring; 22 miles north of Pasadena, over the San Gabriel mountains. The mountains run east-west, the wind usually north-south; there's incredible ridge lift & wave. you can rent awesome gliders; (44-1 LD)DG or (38-1 LD) Grob. It's legal to solo at age 14!

is it allowed to fly/learn to fly if you're wearing spectacles?

Sure, there are no set-backs...you will just have to have a set of glasses in the cockpit and go for regular check-ups every six months

i am also a student pilot, and i have glasses, the only thing that happens is they put a big stamp on your medical that says: "MUST WEAR CORRECTIVE LENSES" that's all :]

Well, for civil aviation you can, not for military aviation. You either can't join or you need to get eye surgery. I will be getting eye surgery hopefully next year or something.

you can start ground school whenever but in order to achieve your license you need to be 17 : ]
