forgiveness doesn't mean there are not consequences to your actions
forgiveness simply means you are letting go of any anger or hostility you have towards some one that hurt you , the purpose of forgiving some one is to cleans your heart so you can heal and become whole again and be free of hatred and anger. That doesn't mean that the person you forgave goes free with no consequences.
