i'm posting this comment as someone who's only ever seen lee live in wicked (i didnt really know who he was before he joined wicked) and really really dislike him as fiyero... i've always thought of him as an over-rated performer... but have recently watched a few old videos of him on youtube from joseph etc, and he was really good. in this phantom performance for instance, lee's vocals AND his portrayal of raoul is stunning :) i've now decided fiyero was just a wrong role for him

Hi caitlinette - I'm not sure about Connie - but I do know that Lee was probably ill and so was likely saving his voice a bit. It was filmed on a Sunday late last year and Lee had to miss the following Monday's performance of Joseph (and was ill the rest of the week) because he had bronchitis. So I think he did wonderfully considering.
