  • We enjoyed meeting you at the Corgi Fest, and loved seeing Buster and Corgi's tricks in person!

  • Awesome. You really should post some step by step training videos and tutorials. Teach Corgi owners your tricks. Could make a few bucks from advertisers if you get a ton of hits too.

  • wow wish mine could do all that lol

  • @juhsitfy153 They can, you can teach them (assuming they're food motivated... and almost all Corgis are!) XD

Keep your eyes open for his next video, it will be coming soon!

  • I love pwc's. they are just so smart and sweet which makew them great trick dogs.

  • @icanhascupcakes Agreed! Smart, Cute, and obedient, what else could you ask for in a dog ? Keep your eyes open for his next video, it will be coming soon!

  • Holy AMAZING! Thats so neat must have taken forever to teach him all those!

  • @xokizzesnhugsxo Actually, each basic trick took about 5-7 minutes (with occasional repetition, of course), and the advanced ones such as the tissue and close the door took a couple days. He is incredibly intelligent and learns very fast! Keep your eyes open for his next video, it will be coming soon!

  • that is a maly, mlody, pies nigdy nazywac sie dziekuje za pomoc pan byl bardzo uprzejmy! = that is a small, young dog never stop taining him you are vary kind to him :)

  • Tissue was great

  • So good! I would love to teach my corgi to do even half of that. Have any tips?

  • @AmberLotus3 Corgis are a very intelligent breed and will be willing to please you if you teach them how to get consistent rewards from you! For Corgis, food should do the trick, since they're all food fiends! Just don't spoil him with non-dog food. Keep your eyes open for his next video, it will be coming soon!

  • How do you teach him those tricks? I am planning on getting a corgi myself too.. do you have any tips for me?

pretty awesome Corgi you got there!

  • @splitsoul101 Yeah, thanks! Corgis are a very intelligent breed and will be willing to please you if you teach them how to get consistent rewards from you! For Corgis, food should do the trick, since they're all food fiends! Just don't spoil him with non-dog food. Keep your eyes open for his next video, it will be coming soon!

  • Wow! Enough said.

  • @YesKimberlyAnne Keep your eyes open for his next video, it will be coming soon!

  • @SADEFOREVER19 Thanks! Buster actually knows a whole lot more now, and we are working on a second video! It should be up pretty soon!

  • Awesome mine knows a lot too do you have any good suggestions as to where I can learn how to teach him some of these? Like a book or website

  • @omerplater Unfortunately, I do not know of any particular books or website, but just working with your dog and seeing others do things can make you creative!

  • man what a smart corgi, i cant wait to get mine in a couple of weeks!

  • @BrenduhLiana Congratulations! Corgis are bundles of fun!

  • so awesome and cute!

  • @PatcHKonG Thanks! =D

  • That is really cool. Both of you are to be congratulated for your success. I have to say that both "Commando" and "Stick 'em up...BANG!" are so cool; LOL.

I just got a PWC and am looking forward to seeing how good a trainer I and my family can be, as I have little doubt that our boy is smart enough.

Thanks for posting and if you have any tips for accomplishing what you two have, I'd certainly be interested.

  • @absolutelyaussie Corgis are very smart, and very food motivated! Just make sure to keep a positive attitude and everything will go well!

  • I think this video has just confirmed that, when I eventually get a dog, it will be a Corgi.

  • @brennandm Corgis are the greatest!

  • and this is why dogs are the best!

  • @soulreaper161 Agreed!

  • Commando! That was the cutesy thing ever!

  • @FsgRocks Yeah, it's one of Buster's favorites as well!

  • this is incredible.

  • @singersongwriter7889 Not incredible, Dogs are smart! It just takes some practice!

  • Wow, Amazing dog! Congratulations on all the work you two have done!

  • @1BILLYBONDAGE Thanks!

  • amazing job on the training. does he stop doing tricks when you stop rewarding him with treats for a while?

  • @LebJamal23 Nope! Buster is extremely willing to please and is always in that mindset! =D

    \

  • were you aware that pembroke welsh corgi's aren't even actual corgi's???

you 2 did a GREAT job!

  • @eluvaitie Thanks ! Keep an eye open for Buster's new advanced tricks video, it should be coming in a couple months.

  • ":Commando!" My absolute fav, though he does each trick so exceptionally well without you repeating the command. Did you start fairly young with him? I have high hopes for our 3 month old Corgi.

  • @TalentofNone I have high hopes for her too! I started training him when I got him around 3 months of age. Buster was always very focused even from a young age, so I knew training would do him good! Keep an eye open for Buster's new advanced tricks video, it should be coming in a couple months.

  • @DarkSephirothX32 We will! We look forward to his inspiration. Thank you.

  • awesome dog!

    How old is Buster now?

  • @lyyamamoto Buster is about 2 1/2 years old now. Keep an eye open for Buster's new advanced tricks video, it should be coming in a couple months.

  • @mariafhpurcell Yeah, Corgis are known to love food! Keep an eye open for Buster's new advanced tricks video, it should be coming in a couple months.

  • awesome .... just awesome

  • "sad puppy" and "AH-CHOO!" triggering the grabbing of a cleanex were the best! :) i'v always liked pembrookes, they are smart AND adorable!

  • @HAPPYKAT926 Yup! Corgis are an awesome breed! Keep an eye open for Buster's new advanced tricks video, it should be coming in a couple months.

  • @snakkimon Yeah, thanks! Keep an eye open for Buster's new advanced tricks video, it should be coming in a couple months.

  • your corgi is smart..any more videos for your corgi? because of yoru video, i got my corgi 2 months ago..now he is 4 months old and already know basic command incl craw, hi five, back etc.... still working hard for right turn, left turn and go around....

  • @mrkueh80: That is great to hear! Corgis are a great breed, and obviously my personal favorite (considering I have two). I have been working on some backwards tricks with Buster and a couple other new ones, but I haven't worked with him quite enough to make a new video that would be entertaining! Maybe I will think of something soon! =D

  • how was the process of training buster to do "commando" i would like to train my corgi to do that but i dont have much training experience

  • @LukeXftw: Well, with commando, I basically dragged a treat in front of his nose after putting him in a down. Their first instinct is to get up and walk towards it, but if the dog gets up pull the treat away. Then, put back in a down and repeat a few times until he begins to crawl towards it. Remember to keep training a positive, fun experience so your dog continues to enjoy it!

  • @DarkSephirothX32 ok awesome! Thanks for the instructions, i cant wait to give it a shot.

  • oh my god. pancake is my favorite by far

  • @naponthetoilet: Thank you! Corgis love to pancake on the floor when they're just chillin' so we decided to give it a name!

  • oh ym gosh this is too impressive

  • i got my corgi in april, she knew no tricks. not she does "up" "beg" "high five" "paw" "touch" and "Roll over" but sometimes she gets stuck on her back with roll over & she squirms all over, the place lol, its so funny. your corgi is so pretty & smart!

  • @KeswickCamp08: That is great! I love to hear about new Corgi owners. They are such an awesome breed!

  • I hate to say that I want a corgi because of Cowboy Bebop, but I do, and I can't wait to get one.

  • @FloydShears my corgi's name is einstein because of that show :) we watch it together and she yoddels whenever she sees him on TV (Yeah, Ein is a girl haha)

  • @WowieWhatALandslide: My other Corgi barks at the TV whenever an animal comes on! We always laugh at him because he is such a goon! XD

  • Oh my goodness, he's amazing! I'm adopting a two year old corgi who's not really too well trained. I really look forward to turning him into a well behaved dog. He's quite good already, just doesn't know commands.

  • @GuiltyWithGlee: That's great! Corgis are a great breed, and are very friendly! I hope your relationship with him will be as fun as mine with my two Corgis! =D

  • My favorite was "Pancake" lol good job

  • oh my gosh!!! that is AMAZING!!!!! and such a beautiful dog too!

  • wow, very smart dog! :)

  • WOW that is amazing. Could you teach my wife that?

  • What a cool little Corgi. I wish I could get mine to do all those tricks! I'm working on it. He is a sweet Corgi and smart too. Great job! Thanks for the vid. A Pem Corgi owner too.

  • Is that full blooded corgi, or is there a small bit of diluted rough collie or shetland sheepdog in there? the snout seems a lil long, and he seems a bit larger proportionally. But still either way SUPER cute, and EPICALLY intelligent.

  • @inspyeredsoul1616 Yes, he is full Corgi, AKC pedigree and all. He looked like that at the time because he was in his adolescent stage. Many Corgis around the age of 6 months until two years have that elongated face look, and they are still young and haven't widened out yet in the midsection. Both of my Corgis went through this, and around 2 years, they widened out and started looking normal. Buster doesn't really look like this anymore, remember he was less than a year old at the time. =D

  • Ahhhh! This video is amazing! I showed it to my dad and he was very impressed. Well done!

We have a bit of a stupid Bolognese dog who is two years old and doesn't like to sit when told. He can, however, dance very well when there's something in it for him. :)

My favorite is definitely the "commando" trick, lol.

  • @Mad1IsaPenguin: Commando is a lot of fun, that seems to be one of the favorites of people who come over. =D

  • I guess they really are a smart breed

  • @RUSSxT: Yes, Corgis are smart, but I think most breeds of dogs can be trained to do these things if interested! =D

  • lol dance!

  • I've always wanted a corgi, and now after seeing your video it just totally re-sparks that desire to get one. I'm a 23-year old tomboy with a great boyfriend and we live with his grandparents, so I want to get a dog that not only is easy to train, but is able to get along with elder people and children especially (his younger cousins like to frequent here). Are pembrokes great with kids?

  • @MugaKun: I believe Corgis are great with kids in general, as long as you socialize them properly. (As it is with any breed of dog, I'm sure). My dogs love people and all other dogs, in fact they seem to think everyone they have ever met is their best friend! I highly recommend getting a Corgi if you have the time to devote to it! (I am also a big time anime fan, which it seems you are as well!)

  • Commando, haha!! You have BOTH done an AWESOME job!! YAY! Corgis are THE BEST!! :)

  • Wow, I am crazy about your dog. I am thinking about getting a corgi. Did you have any problems with him when he was a puppy? Is this breed trainable at home?

  • @melomeca: This breed is definitely trainable at home, and I've never had any major problems with my Corgis as puppies. As long as you have the time and effort to dedicate to raising a puppy, I highly suggest a Corgi! =D

  • This is not a dog, it's a robot. I think that we should teach them only the basics.

  • @Baktiridion: Buster loves to train, it gives his active mind something to do! He absolutely loves it, so I wouldn't say I'm forcing him to do any of this. =D

  • Love your dog and his tricks, how did you teach him, Just at home?

  • Your Corgi is very talented. He is also beautiful.

  • @asianrose87: Thank you!

  • @DarkSephirothX32 You are most welcome

  • Wow....your corgi is amazingly smart. I can only hope my puppy will be that smart when he gets here too =) I want to teach him to be a therapy dog/ get his CGC, and watching this video is giving me a lot of hope that it'll be possible.

  • @FaixDxFlowright: Almost any dog with the proper motivation can accomplish many things! Good Luck!

  • Your corgi seems so calm! I have one and he is high energy.

  • Love the tricks! I just got a corgi. He's only a year old and already learning lots of stuff! Any suggestions on how to go about teaching him some of the tricks?

  • soooo good! Pooka is trainable but not THAT trainable. I think I need to get a clicker...

  • Awesome!! How did you teach him to sit pretty? My lil corgi just gets confused and falls over when I try to teach that one. ;)

  • @kookabooyah: He actually learned that on the bed, where he could balance better. Now, he sits pretty EVERY time I eat a delicious meal in front of him. What a beggar! XD

  • what dogs would will do for a crumb of food...

  • wow, Buster is very smart, mine only does bang and he's to stubborn to learn anything else!

  • great job with your dog. TOO CUTE!

  • Aww, so cute! Where did you learn all those cool tricks? Lol ;-) You have done really great with Buster, he has gotten so good with his tricks! We will have to come up with more for him, next I think should be backwards tricks!

  • i like take a bow and commando :P

  • Adorable! I lovelovelove Corgi;s!

  • this is awesome seph. well done and very impressive.

  • This dog needs to be sent back to Mars.

  • This is amazing! My corgis can only do sit, stay, and heel.

  • Awesome :-) must teach my Pembroke the sneeze triggers kleenex trick :-)

Buster is such a cutie and very smart

  • @LawgirlMiri: haha, he doesn't respond to a real sneeze! Only the fake "A-CHOO!" =D

  • You have a very smart Pembroke and you clearly know how to train and handle your pets. Some people got it, and some don't.....you cleary DO have it. You did an awesome job teaching Buster. These dogs love to learn as long as you're willing to train. Breaking down tricks into components and taking advantage of a dog's natural behavior is the key. My dogs have a very large working vocabulary, and my wife and I talk to them almost as if they were humans, and they understand!!

  • Amazing. How did you start with all these tricks. Our corgi is 6 months and she knows sit, down, stay, roll over, stand and shake.

In what order did you start teaching these tricks? What was the process of teaching it?

You should start a blog. This is awesome.

  • @elsonero82:

Every trick was a slightly different process, but it was all fun. The basic tricks, like "Sit", "Down", "Paw", took about 5 minutes each for Buster to learn. The tougher ones like "Close the door" took about 3 days to learn. Buster is a very intelligent and trainable dog, so it's a lot of fun working with him! Each trick had a slightly different teaching process.

Feel free to ask any questions if you have any, I have a good deal of experience with Corgis since I own two myself. =D

  • yea seph, i taught my sister how to do that stuff too. after a bit of a beating she learned.

    btw pitbulls > corgi

  • thawest: ur dog is gosu lmao i wish my dog was cool like that

    commando was the best one

  • This is edward[ff]. Damn its so wierd to hear your voice alex haha. You talk about your dogs so much that I understand why u do. They are really amazing dogs and you are a great trainer. I rarely see this kinda things from dogs, so its really awesome dude.

  • LMAO BUSTER such a gosu dog
