@Unclesamslair Yeah Dexter is brilliant. Fringe is good, but I think it's an acquired taste. Totally recommend Rush if you live in Australia - best show on TV. Shame SGU got canx, I think that was the closest thing on telly to BSG. I'm also really enjoying the sci-fi show "Lost Girl" which was recommended to me - it's nothing like as epic or well written as BSG, but it's strangely entertaining - interesting mix of light and dark moments. The Big C is also utterly brilliant.

This is by far definitely one of the greatest shows ever made, season 3 was very disappointing to me however, but the good outweighs the bad. If the human race keeps progressing, this is how it could be for our future if we even make it that far, we will build machines to use as slaves, and if we give them a mind of their own, and the ability to learn and adapt, this can happen. We have too many simple minded people on earth though to even hope to advancing this far atleast for a long time.

I can understand they wanted to make the Cylons be more human, and this could be one aspect of that human failing... but come on... All about Cavil?
I totally agree, after season 2 the show lost it's real purpose, though it did pick back up in like the middle of season 4. Cavil was the one though that poisoned the minds of the other cylon's, he is the reason for the whole attack in the first place. That is why they focus alot on him near the end.

The song while they're on New Caprica is Fever Dream by Tyler Bates; the pegasus battles has got Hans Zimmer's "Gortoz A Ran - J'Attends" playing, but I also layered a drum beat from "Nobody Asks to be a Hero" over the type. I think the song when Tigh is back on the ship is "Lords of Konil" by Bear McCreary.
@fanguk2 As for Blur-Ray, that would be perfect, but be mindful the file size of that will be huge, so you probably need 1TB of storage to rip the entire series. I personally cut down on the quality massively and still do, I use mpg files on about 5000kb quality at 1080 or 720 resolution. The loss of quality is a problem but it's a reasonable compromise. To be honest it took me a long time to nail down my personal preferences for this stuff and it was also influenced by my editing software....

@fanguk2 The software I use is Pinnacle Ultimate 14, which doesn't like mp4 which is the best quality/smallest size file I know so that's a pain. I recommend Sony Vegas as the best editing software, harder to learn than pinnacle but a better product. Link me to your vid when you make one. I also hope you won't be disappointed I don't make BSG vids anymore, there are loads on my channel though - some as recent as 3 months ago. Now I'm vidding different shows.

They had a gun to his head and would have killed them anyways. At the same time he should have been on trial for about 20 other things he did. Especially letting the 6 see the defense mainframe.

Sounds about right. How many eps we'll get is up in the air with the strike. We may only get one final season of 12 episodes :( At best we'll have to wait till 2009 for the final episodes. Gutted.

Hey vi3tmix, it's not a remake of this vid but another one I did a while back called "See Every Episode". It's a 10 min long video to a song called Pompeii. I've long wanted to remake it. I just need to find some spare time to do it :)

Season 4.5 is set to air in early 2009..10 episodes left..i can't wait!!! then afterwards we get another bsg movie directed by edwards james olmos about how the cylons deal with the near instiction of the colonials..very lil info is given at this moment..
oh and before season 4.5 airs, the new 'caprica' series is set to air..i think this coming fall, it's no space drama but it about the birth of the cylons so i'll give it a shot ;)

For Pegasus' last scene I remixed "Gortoz A Ran - J'attends" and then layed the drum beat from "Nobody Ask To Be A Hero" over the top of it. Both those tracks are on the Black Hawk Down track but sorry the exact make up I did myself.

Sounds about right. How many eps we'll get is up in the air with the strike. We may only get one final season of 12 episodes :( At best we'll have to wait till 2009 for the final episodes. Gutted.

What is the music you used for the exodus part two episode? it started with the raptors launching the decoys. and then there was the music accompanied with Pegasus' last fight. It sounded like it was from Black Hawk Down, but I can't be sure.

Thanks, I think you must mean the 6th song in (I did a lot of Audio mixing) - it starts about 2.46 in and it's called "One Year Later" by Bear McCreary. It's on the season 2 BSG soundtrack :)
