I like this video. I know a lot of people are or was against the war and so was I but our men and women fought for our country and I am proud of them. I respect the troops, and I can't begin to put into words my gratitude for what they do. That said, I believe it's possible to respect the troops, and yet disagree with the mission that the president sends them on. The Afghanistan War was certainly justified, but I can't say the same for Iraq. Saddam was pure evil, but Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Despite what Clint says, going to war with Iraq is not what gave me the right to protest it. Questioning the government is also patriotic.

None of us are saying anything negative about the soldiers. They aren't responsible for starting this war, they are just unlucky enough to fight. And you'll have to excuse me if I think "don't say anything at all" shouldn't apply to a money sucking quagmire that's killed five thousand soldiers and wounded one hundred thousand more as well as killed one million Iraqis. Not to mention its costing us one hundred million dollars a month, and not a damn thing has been accomplished.

I like this video. I know a lot of people are or was against the war and so was I but our men and women fought for our country and I am proud of them. There is nothing wrong with these songs as long as they tell the truth. My nephew was part of the team that hit Bagdad and I am proud of him. He is back in the states but he saw things that we could never handle.

I respect the troops, and I can't begin to put into words my gratitude for what they do. That said, I believe it's possible to respect the troops, and yet disagree with the mission that the president sends them on. The Afghanistan War was certainly justified, but I can't say the same for Iraq. Saddam was pure evil, but Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Despite what Clint says, going to war with Iraq is not what gave me the right to protest it. Questioning the government is also patriotic.

Seeing as how you have no reliable source for that "100,000", that's just a wild assertion on your part. In addition, Al Queida folks are classified as civilians. (Notice the lack of uniforms?) Seeing as how those "civilians" were killing our soldiers, their deaths are a very good thing. The other civilian deaths were generally due to other civilians killing them. And at the end of the day, 25 million Iraqi'sremain free.

I typically don't like country songs, but, I like this one for the meaning it offers (to me). If evil is not persued the USA can just wait for it to hit us on our home soil again. War sucks, but loss of freedom sucks more. If your not in the USA I understand how we look so bad. OK.
