Phyllis Coats was the first Lois Lane. This woman was so annoying even as a young child I wanted to punch her in the face. Noel Nell was SO much better.
@lauderdale8747 That's Malcolm Mealey. He is also in Superman's "No Holds Barred" (without the pronounced teeth) as Wayne Winchester. There is an article with photos on my website at
jimnolt(dot)com/malcolmmealeyP2.htm. The article was written by his step-son, Chuck Jones.
In the 40's, 50's and 60's, well into the 70's, many of the same scenes were in many of the same scenarios.....locales....as previous ones. Didn't matter. It was the script and excitement that mattered. I always loved these episodes and didn't care of the "boo-boos" that happened.
this was a weird episode with the bitchy lois lane-however the scenes and script were good--as always--probably filmed at the rko backlot--looks familiar--thx for posting..
this louis lane was hot....the next one wasn't

I like both Lois Lanes. Phyllis Coats was the original. She got more annoyed by Clark than Noel Neil
