"Controlled chance." I like that. The thing that always bothered me about chaos, is that it is usually so chaotic. I am a Foley editor by trade. The last picture I cut was all to do with leather creaks - shoes, jackets, wristbands, and particularly sofas and chairs. We call the latter "chair farts." Bravo to you! The "incidental" music sounds oddly familiar, and as a result a tad distracting from the natural ambiance, but on second listen, it was like it had never been played!
@ukecantdothat What a concept... I can hear it now... the "squeaky shoe orchestra"... lots of different shoes that squeak different notes, but not only that, they are on the feet of tap dancers. It would be a glorious cacophony, a combination of Riverdance and Stomp with a bit of gumboot dancing thrown in for good measure.
@MrJoncando In the library I closed my eyes and blindly picked a CD out by chance. It was by someone called Teitur... on listening to it I was enchanted by the music.
There are two resturants in Berlin that have blind waiters and you have to eat your food in the dark. One is called "Dunkelrestaurant Berlin" and the other one is called "Nocti Vagus".
I learnt that fact from Teitur
If you ever go to Berlin visit one of those restaurants... and it will be a case of the blind leading the blind
@MrJoncando In our lives we hate to fly blind. Everything has to be planned, and thought out well in advance. The calories in the food we eat are all calculated. The % fat in our milk.
We leave ourselves very little room to be surprised by goodness, and by having this principle in our lives, we live by limitations, and miss being kissed by the joy of the unexpected.
Although I do agree with you about the bones and darkness.
@weegingayin ..it's called responsibility mi old china..when the sound of tiny feet can be heard..everything changes..U are required to have more then one pair of socks..the 'I-Ching..'GO' & the morning spliff are thrown out the window..all U can do..is do wot ya must!
@Wrongemboyo3 The problem with this instrumental is to try and keep that leather jacket in tune. It is so susceptible to fluctuations in temperature, and no matter how delicately you move the wickerwork chair puts in some extra squeaks and creeks, but that is what you get with a cheap chair, the performance would have been better if I could have afforded a polynesian rattan... you know one of those with the clam shell shaped back, beloved of Somerset Maugham
@weegingayin - Luther participated in a celebrity cricket match last summer . Seemed like a nice Bloke . He agreed to do it again this coming July. I'll tell him you have his jacket....and i know who nabbed it!
