Here's the thing that smells fishy if this "firing" was real. If choking someone is taboo in this "PG" era, then why are Kane and The Undertaker allowed to chokeslam people??? Kinda think there would be more than a peep from the TV executives and the FCC????

@timmyk1983 because the choke slam doesn't look like you are choking someone, it looks more like they are just lifting them up by their neck and throwing them down. what Daniel Bryan did was much worse; you could see that he was actually STRANGLING HIM FOR REAL.

Also at around 2:22 he says that the policy is about not using any OBJECTS to choke people. Daniel Bryan used a tie where as The Undertaker, Kane, The Big Show, The Great Kalhe, Broudis Clay, and others... use their hand(s).

Bryan Danielson has been named best technical wrestler (which is something wwe needs) of the year 2005-2009 and most outstanding wrestler of the year 2006-2009 by Wrestling Observer Newsletter. For those that don't know people in the actual business vote not just fans. So if Vince did this on his own over a 5 second clip then he just gave away the next Chris Benoit or Kurt Angle to TNA.

To say I’m baffled by this is an understatement. So it’s not OK to strangle someone with a tie, but it IS OK to represent attempted vehicular homicide, purposefully try to break someones shoulder by slamming a door into them, run into the ring and take a wild swipe at somebody with a lead pipe, try to run someone over in a car, maliciously attempt to break a mans shoulder with a steel chair or abduct a man who has had a stroke and violently throw him into the back of a car?
