The Sprint Car Danny got into was #69 Jerry Coons Jr. from Tucson AZ.
If you watch the car in front of him (#69) going down the back stretch and into turn 3 you will see him disappear as they go into 3 and reappear as they are in 4 right before Danny gets into his left rear. There was nothing Danny could have done. He was running the bottom. Coons came down into his line and left him no where to go. It happened so fast that Danny didn't even know what happened until he looked at the video.
