But these kind of games are very addictive when you get into it.

It's a sandbox MMORPG you can do what ever you want. Build a house or a boat or even a settelment. I hope people will look into this game and try it.

@Zarenthar If you mean the graphics? I have seen worse. What make or break mmorpgs isn't usually the graphics anyway. It is game mechanics, lag problems and balanced or unbalanced races and classes and so forth. From what i heard this game resemble Ultima Online in some ways, and that is a good thing. You have a 700 point skill lock and that is great :)

Defintily give this game a good try, play for a few days and then make up your mind. It is rough are the start as there is no tutorial or anything but as you go and learn more and more the game becomes really cool.

I love this game....Its for people who are sick of wow bitch and runescape shit.....Build your own towns and kingdoms, which i am doing at the moment.....Its is also crafter friendly meaning you do not have to fight if you dont want to even though the world in 3/4 PVP. Biggest crafting system i have ever seen in a game and alos 5o skills. Combat is undergoing change so dont judge it yet.......best sandbox mmo ever, and it still in beta will a few will built factions already....Come play!

@flatronl1915SLG True (even thou I would not say that you need to have no life to get involved with games), but some F2P games require you to pay for even most basic features for painfree gameplay, such as normal sized inventory and ability to chat in global channels. Even if you want to just kill some time, it would still be quite annoying :p

@RamboBlades Ugh you just reminded me of Allods Online... it started so great, with excelent graphics, and a PATCH ruined everything, for example, it added a "curse" on every blue or better item, or something like that, so that you would get broken items as rewards, and you had to visit the cash shop to buy scrolls to remove the "spell".

Oh and without a cash item called "incense" that basically gives you proper damage and stats for your level, at level 40 you died from a mob lvl 36

It is pure hell to play without paying, and is the main reason I dislike F2P models. Thou some games, like D&D got a lot better model, I've been playing it for some time without bigger annoyance over not using item shop.

@RamboBlades right now I took the Ijji Reactor and i installed 2 Korean f2p mmos, Karos and SUN, both are fun for free to play models, and SUN has a dual crossbow weilding class, there you move more with your keyboard because you kill mobs really fast, so it's kind of like an action mmorpg

The dungeons are really fun too.

While dawntide looks nice in this video, it is not nice in actual gameplay. Many bugs that should have been resolved in a internal alpha phase are still marring the beta.

It is another game with potential (aren't they all) but will fail because the potential will never be meet. At this point I have seen more polish on a piece of jade just excavated from a dig site...

I am not bashing the game, I am merely telling the truth about the state of the game.

@mercnet1980 I think your wrong because the problem is the testers, like you if you play who won't take screenshots and send them to the devs when a bug happens, the devs can't believe someone about a bug, if theres no screenshot, because they can be lying trying to get the devs to fix something thats not that's not there causing in the making of a exploit when they fix something that was already okay.

I was in the beta for DF, played at launch, and played up to 6 months ago. Both on EU and NA servers (non transfer) So that is two accounts I have played from both server launches. I know DF ups and downs. Still waiting on my Mahirim racial...

I have been playing the game for a lot longer then you have, and know a great deal more then you think. That is the whole point. Faster skill gains does not make up for the content missing.

@mercnet1980 I aswell was in the beta for DF, and aswell played at launch, I stop about a month ago playing, and they did deliver small. I have seen all the exploits, and some clans like the merc still have not reported exploits that ONLY THEY know about because they found out about it and only tell some people in there clan that the leader trust. DF has and will always have exploits people keep to thereselves nerfing the game.
