  • This blew my mind live on the 27th

  • Definitely my favorite from the album. One of my favorite Radiohead songs.

  • Comment removed

  • kind of reminds me of a neil young song, i love it.

  • Simply magical... soothing.. ...it heals the lost mind..THANK YOU

  • The gentle guitar riff from Jonny makes this song absolutely perfect.

  • this songs makes it ok to die

  • I dedicate this song to my cat scotty, who my family had to send to the shelter. God bless that cat.

  • may favorite song on the album..

  • Definitely the best song on 'Limbs' and one of the best in the entire Radiohead catalog. *goosebumps*

  • Great song. However, the lyrics in vid's description were written by an illiterate idiot I'm afraid.

  • my favorite song from this album!

  • One of the best songs of this album. Along with Lotus Flower, Codex and Morning Mr Magpie

  • Whenever I listen to songs like this, I remember that I will eventually die.

  • @TheCreepsAreAlright Acknowledging your mortality is vital if you want to live a fulfilling, happy life. All the best.

  • @Illadelphism That's what I mean.

  • after this album had come out i was amazed to hear people calling it under-par. At first i struggled to like Feral, but thats the only song on the album that i've had to warm to. In my opinion this is up there with HTTT and In Rainbows, but they have yet to create something as good as Kid A

  • This sounds like Neil Young... who I love!

  • <3

  • i dont know if it's me or not but I think they should have switched this song with separator. It just feels to me that this song is a better ending song, the tone and feel it has. But other than that I freaking love this album, yeah it does take some time to take in but once it does, it's like, "WOW what the hell was I thinking, this album is amazing."

  • This entire album is a complete masterpiece. Feral is the only track I had trouble getting into, but it wasn't intended to be easily accessible. This song brings me to tears very easily. It's just so beautiful I cry.

  • Beautiful track. Thom Yorke plays Neil Young though ... Who'd have thunk it?

  • this is the only song on the album that stood out to me. personally.

  • I hated this album back in Feb.... but it has definitely grown on me. This is sucha beautiful song.

  • was going to buy the tickets for TKOL tour in austin, tx and they sold out the day after they went on sale online. so disappointing... now i'm going to have to hunt like a hungry lion

  • I have something important to do, I have to get off the computer NOW....but oh god, I just can't pause this...by body won't let me.....seriously...

  • the best on the album----

  • favorite

  • this isent even that good its just some guy playeing the same note 374 times and a dude in the backgroun hotting his trumpit .. .i will never undestand how ppl like radioheads

  • @KhalidMuhijadeen Because it's beatiful, I see you don't like it, you're into diferent music, that's your thing, I don't comment much but I just wanna say this is about life and death and it makes me apreciate life, somthing most songs connot do, it may be simple, but less is more, it's the simplest things that can show the intence beaty of life :)

  • @evilpigeions I'm assuming the guy's a troll, so just ignore the fucking cunt. His youtube channel is evidence enough.

  • I can't believe I've been wrong the whole time :(

  • Beautiful song. My favorite band. BUT, does anyone know if the lyrics in the background throughout say "Don't hurt me", or "Don't haunt me"?

  • does cborgstadt81 think his commment is going to go down in history as the greatest comment ever made by an unknown man?

  • Radiohead, why are you so brilliant?

  • @buceintoronto: Yes. Yes I believe he does. ; ) I think he's a genius. Thank you Mr. Yorke~~~~~~

  • this sounds like every song post ok computer, their last great album.

  • @saganemc2 Hail to the Thief and In Rainbows have a lot of songs that sound like the more traditional Radiohead

  • @AlvinHDavernport I personalize it unfortunately, OK was one of the most important pieces of art in my life, which it changed inexorably. I embraced Kid A, flirted with the rest.

  • @saganemc2 I agree that OK Computer is a piece of unsurpassed beauty and it's likely that neither Radiohead nor any other band on Earth will ever match it, but really, there are many tracks from recent albums that don't sound "experimental" at all. In fact, In Rainbows is meant to be a perfect complement, song by song, to OK. Jigsaw Falling Into Place is a perfect example of a recent Radiohead track that sounds 100% like the Radiohead I've always loved.

  • one word : lachrymose

  • Just watched the exquisite performance of this on Jimmy Fallow's show and couldn't help but marvel at how much this band has matured as songwriters from the Pablo Honey days (though bookends "You" and "Blow Out" still hold up pretty well).

This song is transcendently simple and peace inducing. You gotta love the intimacy of just him and Johnny on stage intoning steady pleas for the past to stay in the past.

Also, reading these topmost comments in conjunction with this song made me cry.

  • As i bike nearly everywhere i can, this song certainly is the best for night rides when im high.

    Fuck yeah Radiohead.

  • This envokes qualities from Pink Floyd's "Ummagumma" album from '69. Folky, Psychedelic, and Pastoral.

  • This album came out a week after my grandmother passed away and I can literally feel her warmth everytime I listen to this song...I can not explain what that feels like but I can say that although it is sad, it is also beautiful and I listen to this song whenever I want to remember her...

  • @20milestomoscow thats beautiful.

  • @20milestomoscow This is the exact same feeling and your comment made me cry.

  • I love the new Thom Yorke solo album I mean new Radiohead album :3

  • @Hamgammy You're a moron.

  • @Pavaloo42 crai moar n00b

  • this song is underrated nobody says it is the best on this album, everyone says is Codex, Lotus Flower, Bloom, but I like this better and for me It is one of the best songs ever written by Thom

  • @ThomRadioheadYorke Damn i still can't wrap my head around bloom. Its fun to listen to but It doesn't take me anywhere like this song does a million times.

  • @ThomRadioheadYorke this is my fav song on the album

  • @ThomRadioheadYorke I agree that this is underrated for the album, and it does sound great. The basement version is even better. But I think more people would agree with me when I said Paranoid Android is their best song.

  • @michaelfeldman91 I completely disagree with you there. I am a huge Radiohead fan, and I find both Paranoid Android and Everything in its Right Place mediocre. Give Up The Ghost and Weird Fishes/Arpeggi are my favorites by them. Yes, I'm weird, but their "best" song is really hard to declare for a band as diverse as Radiohead.

  • @DeviousPie2 try listening to Life In A Glasshouse

  • @GoOnMaggotBrain I love Life in a Glasshouse, though I prefer the version with the extended jazz introduction. I feel that jazz is a music form of passion, humanity, and improvisation, while Life in a Glasshouse is about, to me, how everything we do is monitored and regulated a la Foucault. To me, it provides a nice contrast.

  • @DeviousPie2 I love all four songs you mentioned equally as they are all brilliant and way beyond mediocre. Paranoid Android is their Bohemian Rhapsody. Weird Fishes is sooo amazing! IT's all greatness to me. Radiohead is greatness. I look foward to more stuff from these guys! :) Happy Holidays to all Radiohead fans!

  • @ThomRadioheadYorke ah really? This was my favorite from the start, haunting song one of their best! (and then of course Codex and Separator, the rest of TKOL is a mere so-so for radiohead I think)

  • @ShopliftersUnite if Supercollider would have made it instead of the awful Feral, it would have been a pretty decent album though

  • @ThomRadioheadYorke Best Songs: Lotus Flower, Give Up The Ghost, Little By Little.

  • :')

  • the brilliance of this song didn't strike me til' about a day later, then I couldn't get it out of my head (a good thing)

  • i like this very trippy sounding and spiritual

  • I had alot of trouble with this album. The rythym's were hard to pick up, the lyrics seemed ambiguous and totally abstract. If it weren't for this, codex and and a couple others I wouldn't have given this album a second chance and realised what a freaking masterpiece it is.

  • @RonaldinhoReborn Same with me. And now Bloom is actually probably my favorite Radiohead song ever. I'd never have gotten into the album if it wasn't for the last half of it though.

  • @huliheaden Same.

  • Bellissima, anche se la mia preferita dell'Album è "Codex".

  • also, it's "Gather up the lost and their souls" and "gather up the pitiful"

  • Beautifully trippy song.

  • Sto scrivendo questo in modo da avere a tradurre on-line!

  • Definetly the best song on the album.

  • Hey you guys, have you seen the new live recording from the basement? it's freaking awesome!!!!

  • @danikittie

i agree. i think its almost better than this version.

  • @danikittie felt the tears rising when i heard that verison. Fucking Beautiful.

  • @danikittie King of Limbs sounds so much better when they perform it from The Basement, album sounds a bit "overproduced" to me ;s

  • @danikittie Yes. Yes it is.

  • @dpthomas37 this s not the last song of the album, the last song is "Separator".

  • This makes me feel like a wimp when I listen to this. I turn into a big girl.

  • Great

  • what the fuck 3 dislike...

  • my life as of late. . .

  • 2:41 is when Thom Yorke officially gives up the ghost.

  • @2:55 Unfailingly gives me chills every time.

  • this is the most depressing song ever..

  • @KDQ13 ure the most depressive person ever

  • @KDQ13 Maybe you're just prone to depression... because I think it's amazing and relaxing

  • @Savedpianolover i think the same, in fact, i think in the girl that i love, and it makes me love her Really More!

  • τα τόσα αστέρια που έχουν σβήσει..

  • I have played a version of this by looping my piano (editing nightmare). Its on my channel :)

  • @dpthomas37 This isn't the last song. Separator is. Sorry, don't wanna be a "call out" doucebag, but I just want you to have your Radiohead facts straight. lol

  • It´s not don't hurt me, but is Don´t Worry

    hehehe

    great music

  • @RadioMusicLyrics ins't it "don't haunt me?"

oh well, I'll go check the newspaper and look for it :)

  • ah, the exploitation of vintage tones. just gorgeous.

  • OMG...I get it!

  • This song was ruined for me the moment I read a comment on here saying that Thom Yorke on this song sounds like Herbert from Family Guy.

  • @Radz117 OH. MY. GOD. RUINED. IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL. no!

  • Co za asy

    (._.)

  • This song makes me want to make love with Thom York, does not it?

  • I cry.

  • The sense I get out of this song comes from when I was depressed and felt like the ghosts of the king of Limbs cover or like Kaftka's Cockroach, Gregory Samsa, and finally realize, after therapy, that there is hope and that I can life a good life

  • Why does this album has to be so shooort?!!! :(

  • This is just another one great recording by Radiohead. They always seem to amaze me.

  • Does Thom Yorke just wake up in the morning and say, 'yep, let's write the most beautiful song in the world today'?

  • @buceintoronto Every day. Every single day. That's the only possible way to explain it.

  • @buceintoronto For sure! So many beautiful songs

  • @buceintoronto Basically.

  • @buceintoronto Yep I think he does haha:) I know exactly what you mean simply beautiful!

  • This is quite beautiful. Also, is anyone else slightly scared of the album cover?

  • Seriously... Listen to Mew If you want a similar sound to this.

The weirdest yet most artistically impeccable album ever.

  • I think I have had my fill...in your arms

    beautiful

    delightful

    amazing

  • sounds like pink floyd in 1970

  • id say it sounds very LED ZEPPELIN inspired, does anyone else hear what i mean? just amazing! :)

  • @mysalsadamo I can see what you mean, but I still think their most Zeppeliniest song is Go to Sleep.

In any way, I really like this song and this album. It's an album that you really have to want to enjoy to enjoy, but I'd say it's tied with In Rainbows for my third favorite album (after Ok Computer and The Bends).

  • Goosebumps... Absoulutely beautiful

  • into your arms...

  • i smiled as the first guitar strummed, what a beautiful song.

  • slender man!

  • I think that Radiohead`s lyrics have changed trough out the years.

How to dissapear completely, street spirit, life in a glass house, let down are entirely different from the lyrics in The King Of Limbs. Radiohead sounds so much more possitive and at ease in this album.

  • some of their songs you know you're gonna like but have to listen to on loop to really convince yourself you do. Not this one. Loved it from first listen.

  • Radiohead are hard-wired into my brain, evoking emotions that no other band can.

  • i put this song and remember my aunt i took care of for a year. She had cancer and we all did everything we could for her recovery, but she died. She was the most loving person you will ever meet angel like. She loved life simple conversations with family and being around family made her happy. I put this song and remember her and cry, I just let it out.

  • radiohead just seem to do everthing right, every note and every word is just perfect.

  • holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit..

  • There's something haunting, bittersweet and arresting about Thom's voice and their sound, something very special. I've found that as one of those English major types/writer that Thom's lyrics are just vague enough to affix themselves readily upon whatever inner process I'm working through, just metaphorical enough that an unimstakable personal connection is made; in other words, it feels like it speaks to me...an approachable quality, like you could crawl inside them.

    ~Christopher Borgstadt

  • @cborgstadt81 shut the fuck up

  • You know, radiohead has this special thing that makes me feel like the time stops and everything around vanishes... I just cannot turn off one of their songs when its playing.

  • 20,000 views... WTF is wrong with you people.??

  • if this album doesn't bring you to tears, perhaps you are less than human

  • For years I've been waiting for more Radiohead,

My only dissapointment in this album is that there isn't more

  • @Kemordia why is that?

  • @lizkids21 Because more Radiohead is always a good thing (to me) :)

  • @Kemordia of course. but my bad i think i asked this to the wrong person...they said something about not liking it all. you're statement makes complete sense.

  • This album is genius and definitely my favorite album right now.

  • Thank you soo much for including the lyrics :)

  • Bollocks to the lot of you. Radiohead have never, and will never make a bad album. Sure, The King of Limbs isn't OK Computer or The Bends, but its still a masterpiece in its own right. Fact.

  • It's so uncommon for radiohead to "play safe" when creating albums. They did it for this one, and still I think it's a great album. It falls short compared to others, but i still think it's neat.

  • @yusbarrett the fact that you feel that it comes short is a proof for the fact that they didn't play safe, as you suggest

this album is just another masterpiece, different to their precessors

  • 2:42 - 2:55 is my favorite part. "I think I should give up the ghooost... Into your aaarms." Simply majestic. Long after this song has ended you will hear "don't hurt me, don't haunt me" playing in the background of your mind...probably when you least expect it. 4/5 stars

  • this album sucks bigtime...plain and simple...don't overcomplicate everybody...we dont have to call this music just because we don't want to hurt radiohead's feelings

  • @mdilla11 Interesting, that you comprehend that "we don't want to hurt radioheads feelings".How overcomplicated are you?

  • @mdilla11 Wrong...Correction, the first half of this album sucks. The second half of the album is fantastic!

  • @mdilla11 yeah i notice people get really polar about this album, and actually radiohead in general. its like you either would never listen to them or they're your favorite band

  • @ibrahamofsudan

well, I am that way about Radiohead, but not about other bands---something about their music strikes a personal chord with me that other groups don't--- I can't say why, I like a lot of other groups, and I don't mind other people feeling whatever way they want about a band---but their music just affects me differently

but I wasn't raised listening to modern music, too, so maybe that has summat to do with it?! I dunno

  • Going back home today, I fell asleep in the train while listening to this...

  • GOOD SONG!!

  • this is going to be the song of spring :) when everything blooms again

  • This song makes me want to make love to someone.

  • this is probably the best song in this album although I haven't listened to it carefully....Thom's voice just makes it. It's not an easy one, and I know that these songs will grow in people who appreciate their music. Just a question of time.

  • So amazing. 'Tis uncanny how well these lyrics fit my life. Feelin' strangely emotionally attuned to these guys... thank you for posting the album so i can have it in my playlist <3

  • this song reminds me of Def Leppard...these dudes are almost as good as the Leppard....just kidding.

  • F'in aye this song is amazing!! Listen to this and the rest of the album w/ headphones. This song is so beautiful.

  • the king of limbs = penis, dick, tom !!

  • Gather up the lust in your soul Into your arms, into your arms Gather up the painful Into your arms, into your arms Into your arms, into your arms What seems impossible Into your arms, into your arms I think i have had my fill Into your arms, into your arms Into your arms, into your arms I think I should give up the ghost Into your arms Into your arms Into your arms Into your arms.... spacings off, I know

  • Reminds me lightly of bon iver

  • don't haunt me?

  • Im sorry but the lyrics are way off

  • @simcurly5 how is it a bad song? And how are they a bad band?

  • @purpleismyfave17 Probbly some metal head don't worry

  • @Akis402 Fuck off, I am a devout death metal fan, and yet radiohead are one of my favorite bands of all time.

  • All the songs on this album are old songs that they never released. So this album was never anything new, but its such a great album!

  • @majuju8boy Where did you get that idea. We only knew about a couple of "old" songs in the album.

  • @majuju8boy Where did you get that idea. We only knew about a couple of "old" songs in the album.

  • hes not saying just dont hurt me. hes saying (dont haunt me, dont hurt me)

    saw this at coachella.
