what i would like to see is bethesda remake the original blood omen using the skyrim style of design its pretty much already there it could even be fanmodded in. Great game, Soul Reaver 1 is my favorite game ever. I really hope the series returns. I loved the mystery, the characters, the story and atmosphere. The series has so much unique elements and it should be a welcome addition to the games sold nowadays.

You should try Soul Reaver 1 on pc, the graphics are so much sharper and it's a little different then ps1.

If they did another one, it would be a shame if older kain tried to prevent the banishement of the Hylden, or even really completely removed their threat. The humans proved to be pretty crappy opposition in the SR 1 future, so much so that he didn't even bother to completely enslave them. He needs to figure out some way to stop his offspring devolving, which could be to do with balance. Also the Elder God needs another beating. Anyone seen the recent pics of Malek's bastion for dark prophesy?
I love Defiance. It is one of my Top ten favorite games. I loved the end and that Raziel and Kain came to a terms. Raziel was the only person Kain DIDN'T want to kill, but he had to. I also agree about the dark gifts, but I think they should be made more fluid.

If the curse still happens, then Kain need only kill Mortanius and Moebius during their rebellion. Moebius' one weapon against the Vampires, his staff, has already been proven pointless against Kain at the end of Defiance. Between a lack of
1 - Hylden Lord to possess Mortanius and start the corruption and
2 - human guardians for the Pillars, since turning all guardians to Vampires should still occur
the Pillars should remain in perfect form, and balance is maintained.
If Kain's purpose is to restore the Pillars, then he needs to fight the Elder God (since the squid is trying to kill off all vampires). The best result for Kain is one that would result in the Pillars being created (the banishment has to happen), but never fall into human hands. If Kain participated in the Ancient War between the Vampires and the Hylden and slayed the Hylden Lord (again) before the banishment, then this could be improvement.
If you recall, Tony Jay (who did the Elder God's voice) was also the original voice for Mortanius. This was passed over to Alastair Duncan when Mortanius reappeared in Defiance. Given that Alastair managed to recreate Mortanius nicely, perhaps he could also bring new life into the Elder God. I doubt that Mortanius would be reappearing in a game, unless Kain were to time travel to when Mortanius and Moebius rebelled (though I think it would be better if he participated in the Ancient War.

Agrees, fans like it or not, the series DOES have an ending, the story is complete even if it doesn't have the "he lived happily ever after" cliche ending, it's canceled 6th episode was already screwed up with the plot, and can only expecting worse from Square. Better leave the series alone and not to screw it up.

It is Kain's Legacy, and not Raziel's.Crystal only took the title from Sillicon, and came up with a game that had no issue with Blood Omen, and Kain became tossed aside in his own story for Raziel. Sad to see fans playing the series only for him and also want new games with him, but the title is still Legacy of KAIN. Raziel is a naive, simple cliche guy anyways.
i dont know if you played assassins creed or not, but in assassins creed you can climb the sides of every building, you can actually get insanely high and its a good game for checking out the environment. my point being, if they made a new l.o.k. like assassins creed, it would be a great way to check everything out without flying around. but flying would be cool too. especially if you had some flying enemies to fight with in the air.

I think they should do a prequel trilogy to the Legacy of Kain taking place during the War of the Demonic Hylden and the Anicent Vampires during Nosgoth's prehistory and I have the best lead character to play as: Janos Audron, the one who turned Vorador, the crafter of the Soul Reaver into a Vampire. Me too, I have waited an eternity to sink my teeth into another game in the series, Defiance left wide open for another two games in my opinion but I hope for the prequels more. Do you agree?
Yep, Nosgoth is a like Tolkienesque world filled with Sorcerers, Vampire, Humans, Demons all vying for power and predetermined destinies. The Legacy of Kain should continue and discovering the rest of Kain's role in restoring a broken world after Raziel entered the Reaver and accomplished his role in the story.
Raziel's Vampire Clan was called the Razielim but they never showed them on the Clans of the Rahabim, the Melcahim and Zephonim and the Turelim but since Turel was nowhere in the first Soul Reaver. He came as a Human form in Nosgoth's pass when he fought Raziel future post-Vampire, Wraith form. Remember it was his future self who killed his brethren in the past in the timeline so that later Kain would turned them all into his Vampire Lieutenants.
In legacy of Kain Soul reaver 1 If you do the ultomute flying glitch You can actually get over The Gate of the pathway to the sarafan chamber Into the waterfall scene In number two!!!!!!!! ( Note you cannot Travel far after getting over the Gate, This was not ment to happen )
