Oh. My. God. I love you. This is my CHILDHOOD. I miss this game soooooooo much...I wish I could emulate this, but...well, WinUAE emulation actually, um...costs money. I mean, I'd gladly pay to get stuff like this, Trolls, and Lemmings again, but...I have none. :(
Thanks for bringing back some wonderful memories ^_^
(BTW, you're on Trillian, aren't you? I heard the IM sound and was like, "What? Wait, I'm not on--oh.")
@FerreTrip actually, WinUAE doesn't cost anything. It's AmigaOS and the Kickstarts that cost money. There are ways to get those at no cost, but you're "not supposed to".
This is kinda the game i am looking for, the one i am looking for came with the old computer(a computer i got in the 2000, 1999) i got, it look like this but more 3Desh and had a like big red dot so that when you press it you can restart the game and a little green dot so you can quit the game.I know this sounds stupid but that's all i remember sorry.Anyone know a game i can search???????????????
So I dunno what the validity of this is, but I seem to recall having a copy of Megaball 4 (AGA) on my Amiga 500 with an OCS chipset... I even remember this exact level, but the music was different - that is, the instruments were different, but it was the same song.
Was there a particular graphics set that came with Megaball 4 that let it run on both OCS/ECS and AGA?
I loved this game. Does anyone know how If there is a way to get it to work on anything other than an AMIGA? I used to have an AMIGA 2000 and that game would only work on AMIGA. Another thing that I miss is the Deluxe paint program. You could create alot of animations from scratch. Is there anything out there even remotely like the old Deluxe paint program? Anyone out there know what I'm talking about? Good Stuff...I miss it.
No. This is an old Amiga game called Megaball 4. It's not availible on anything but the Amiga. The guy who made it, Ed Mackey, he's distributing it from his webpage for free these days. So to play it on the Mac, you'll need to go out, buy an Amiga, rip its rom data, copy the OS, and run it on the Mac version of UAE.

@Novetrix Yes, MegaBall 4 came with two sets of graphics, and would auto-detect AGA. So, it could run on an Amiga 500 as well as the high-end Amigas.

Megaball AGA for the PC? I wasn't aware the AGA chipset was ever on the PC... Or do you mean you have an Amiga emulator that can play Megaball AGA?

Hi,
I'm also looking for this game everywhere.
Do you get it in the meanwhile? If yes, please let me know.

I know the guys who made this. I actually designed the smilely face level, using the board editor. :^)

Cool, I got an email from Ed shorter after posting a video of my unfinished clone.

Are you using WinUAE?
xan1242 3 years ago
Yes, unfortunately I couldn't get my tv capture card to work, so I had to use UAE to capture the video.

However, in my defense, I have several working Amigas here, all with legal kickstarts and OS, so it's fine.

is this available on mac?
