You don't die unless your health runs out.

I don't remember how the story mode handled loss of limbs for the player. But in arena mode you can keep fighting even without any arm. You'd try to push your opponent into a trap (which most arenas have).

That also applies to all monsters in story mode. It was quite frustrating when you managed to chop off an ogre's right arm and then be pummeled to death by his left.

I don't think it's that. Check Demon's Souls for example. Not noob-friendly at all, but it still avoided complete freedom in its fighting mechanics. I think it's too difficult to make a free sixaxis fighting system that is fun to play, has accurate controls and is balanced between different weapons.

In fact in one recent game developer mag they talked about the "mistake that was DBTS". Seriously, fuck the lowest common denominator, DBTS was a fantastic game, and I have a lot of good memories playing MP games on my friend's LAN back in the day.

I know there is an easy way to win the opponent but I chose crossing swords for a showcase of the game. Also I have used mouse VSIM in the video and now I wield my well-greased Wiimote. If we had a duel you'd know who is better. I'll split your head!

I don't know about the Polish version but I will write some info of the mod. "Limb from Limb" is a commercial product. I have the English version of DbtS and LFL. In your case, I guess LFL should be the polish version. About mods, some of Hazard's mods need a data set called "Hazard's Data Library" (hazdata)" that is downloadable at his site. His battlefield mod uses it. All of his mods needs LFL.
